Dermarr played a grand total of ZERO minutes that past game. The Dermarr chapter of this franchise is closed unless another injury comes up. If you want to follow Dermarr, sorry.

If you want to follow the Pacers though, they are still here.

I'm hoping for great things. Blowing out the Warriors should be a sign of good things to come. I've surrounded him with solid guys and the team feels a lot better to play with than what I was given on opening night. :P

          He's Back!

You can tell the chemistry on the Pacers team is so much better this season.

There's no jealousy or any cliques on the team. There's no finger pointing. You don't walk in the locker room and feel like there's any tension between players as in years past.

The chemistry should get even better now that Danny Granger is back. They've still got quite a bit of work to do if they expect to make the playoffs.

Granger looked somehat rusty early on in his first regular-season game since November.

At the same time, though, you felt his presence on the court. Guys followed his lead by constantly moving without the ball. Chris Kaman fed Granger on a nice backdoor play shortly after he checked back into the game in the second quarter. That's when Granger picked up right where he left off before the injury.

"I felt pretty good for not playing since April," Dunleavy said. "Once I got in and got a rhythm, especially in the second half, I felt more back to normal."

Granger, who lived in the gym as he worked his way back from his strained achilles problem, said it was felt great to be back on the floor despite being restricted to 30 minutes on the night, mostly due to the fact that the Pacers layed down a beating on the Warriors. He finished with 30 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists on the night.

O'Brien said it best when talking about Granger.

"If Danny Granger isn't an All Star, then I don't know what an All Star looks like," O' Brien said.

"There's no way he doesn't make it," point guard T.J. Ford said.

I haven't hit January just yet. I'm in mid december. Once January hit's I'll be able to tell. Missing a whole month with that strained achilles will probably keep me out of the running until later in the season assuming he can stay healthy and keep putting up the numbers he is doing so. I'd be happy with an all-star selection and being named to the 3rd team with him. :P

Dunleavy Not Able To Hit Game Tying 3 In Final Seconds Against Former Team As Pacers Outlast Clippers

              Starting Lineups:
              T.J. Ford PG Baron Davis
              Wally Szczerbiak SG Eric Gordon
              Danny Granger SF Mike Dunleavy
              Chris Wilcox PF Zach Randolph
              Chris Kaman C Marcus Camby

              (9-16) 120 vs 117 (16-9)

T.J. Ford had Baron Davis' number tonight holding him to 22% shooting and forcing him into 4 turnovers which proved key in the Pacers victory against a surging Clippers team.

"Danny didn't exactly shoot the lights out but Marquis and Brandon gave us a huge boost off the bench. T.J. played excellent defense against Baron tonight. Chris (Wilcox) did a little bit of everything tonight. This is a very talented Clippers team and everyone picked up the slack to help us get this win tonight. Luckily for us, Mike's 3 point shot didn't fall." - Pacers Head Coach Jim O' Brien

Indiana's Offense Sputters In Philly As Pacers Suffer 17 Point Loss To Sixers

                    Starting Lineups:
                    T.J. Ford PG Andre Miller
                    Wally Szczerbiak SG Andre Iguodala
                    Danny Granger SF Thaddeus Young
                    Chris Wilcox PF Elton Brand

                    (10-16) 96 @ 113 (14-12)

Danny Granger fades away to get a shot up over Elton Brand. Granger is still trying to find his rhythm after returning from an injury.

Pacers Acquire Williams In Three Team Trade

The Indiana Pacers announced today that the team has acquired forward/center Sean Williams from the New Jersey Nets.

As as part of the three-team trade which also included the Memphis Grizzlies, Indiana sent Jeff Foster and his expiring contract to Memphis while Memphis parted ways with Darko Milicic and his contract which expires in 2010, when players like Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and maybe even Amare stoudemire could end up testing free agency waters and going where the most money is, to New Jersey.

“We are all very much aware that this season has not advanced as we anticipated. With that said, we will continue to evaluate and reshape our roster where necessary, until we can get to where we want to be as a team,” said Larry Bird, Pacers General Manager.

“This particular trade gives us the opportunity to have a young big man who can run the floor efficiently, as well as provide our team with some much needed shot blocking."

Williams, who averaged just under 18 minutes a game in his rookie season including a number of starts, has yet to start a game this season and has seen his minutes dwindle to a dismal 5 minutes per after this offseason has left the Nets with a very crowded frontcourt.

Sean's work ethic and commitment to basketball has been one of aspect of Sean's game that has been in question since he was drafted with the 15th pick in last year's draft. Here he is, seen flipping off Lamarcus Aldridge at last year's rookie vs. sophomore game.

"We know Sean comes with some excess baggage and has a bit of an attitude. New Jersey didn't look like they had intentions of resigning him after his rookie contract. This is his chance to prove he belongs in this league. He will see an increase in minutes here. We have high hopes for Sean and think he will fit in very well with our uptempo system," mentioned Pacers Head Coach Jim O' Brien.

With Chris Wilcox still on the fence as far as returning to the team or testing free agency waters come this offseason, Sean could see himself as the Pacers big man of the future.

The Pacers will also receive Trenton Hassell as part of the deal for salary purposes and will more than likely see little to no playing time with the Pacers which will prove to be no different than his situation in New Jersey.

                        Trade Breakdown:

                        Pacers Receive:

                        F/C Sean Williams
                        F Trenton Hassell

                        Grizzlies Receive:

                        C/F Jeff Foster

                        C Darko Milicic

Courtesy of Maxamillion711, here is a video showcasing Sean's best rebounds, dunks, and blocks during his rookie year.

I just watched that Sean Williams vid for god knows what time that is and I still get chills when the part of him self alley ooping at the rookie sophomore game comes on. So fucking badass.
