Player Of The Game:

Quote Of The Game:
"We were aggressive early on and got out way in front early. Our starters got some decent rest in the 4th and our bench guys got some serious play because of how well we played early on. The rest our guys got tonight should help us when we face the very tough Hornets next. Hopefully Marquis' injury isn't too severe and we can have him back soon." - Pacers Head Coach Jim O' Brien

Daniels Goes Down
The Pacers luck has to be the worst seen in the NBA so far this season. Earlier in the year, the Pacers were leading commandingly over the Hawks when Ricky Davis landed hard on his leg, tearing his achilles tendon which would end up sidelining him for the remainder of the season.
Fast forward to the following game, again, the Pacers well in control over the Magic, and Danny Granger goes down. Thankfully not with a torn achilles but only a strained one which kept him out for roughly 28 days. A span in which the Pacers went a dismal 3-10.
Lastnight, as the Pacers manhandled a young Grizzlies team and widened the gap by as much as 30, Marquis Daniels dives into the stands and ends up dislocating his shoulder.
"We tend to stay injury free when games are close," joked Pacers Head Coach Jim O' Brien. "It's when we look our best out there that injuries tend to sneak up on us."
Marquis' shoulder will keep him out of action for 2-4 weeks.
Dermarr Johnson, who has seen little playing time since Granger's return, will return to the rotation until Daniels' return.
"It's hard to lose a guy like Marquis to injury," mentioned Granger. "He does a little bit of everything out there. Scores, plays aggressive defense, even goes up for boards. The guy is a hustle player and the reason his shoulder is wrapped up the way it is now is because of that hustle. Can't hate him for that."Comment
