                  (3-3) - 20 @ 28 - (4-2)

                  Recap:

The 4-2 Philadelphia Eagles, coming off of another deflating loss to the Dallas Cowboys, hosted the 3-3 New York Giants in a divisional showdown.

Philadelphia's running attack actually made an appearance in today's game, with halfbacks Brian Westbrook and LeSean McCoy combining for 145 yards and a touchdown on just 20 carries. The Eagles were also able to get to the quarterback four times, making Eli Manning hurry every time.

The 5-2 Eagles will be hosting the 6-1 Seattle Seahawks next Sunday, in a matchup of the NFC's best. It should be a pure battle.

Conference Leaders to Match Up in Philadelphia

Conference Leaders to Match Up in Philadelphia

Matt Hasselbeck has been arguably the best quarterback in the league so far this year.

The NFC's Conference leaders, the 6-1 Seattle Seahawks and the 5-2 Philadelphia Eagles, will be matching up on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Eagles are coming off of a big win against the division rival New York Giants, in which their dangerous run attack was finally restored. The Seahawks are a team that lacks a running game, as their halfback Cedric Benson has been very inconsistent thus far.

If Philadelphia can contain Seattle quarterback Matt Hasselbeck they should be able to secure another victory, seeing as the Eagles' defense is much stronger than the Seahawks'.

Eagles Defeat Seahawks; Take Conference Lead

                          (6-1) - 10 @ 28 - (5-2)

                          Recap:

IN a matchup of the NFC's elite, the 6-1 Seattle Seahawks visited the 5-2 Philadelphia Eagles.

Philadelphia's run game was very strong for the second week in a row, combining for two touchdowns. Donovan McNabb was forced to throw two interceptions, but he stayed poisedand was able to hit a player in the endzone twice as well.

The Seahawks' offense looked out of sync, with running back Cedric Benson also rushing for 20 yards on ten rushing attempts. Matt Hasselbeck played well despite throwing an interception, but he couldn't do it all himself as the Eagles emerged victorious.

Eagles Traveling to Minnesota to Square Off Against Lowly Vikings

Eagles Traveling to Minnesota to Square Off Against Lowly Vikings

Adrian Peterson is one of the most talented halfbacks in NFL history.

The 2-6 Minnesota Vikings will be hosting the 6-2 Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.

The Vikings lack a solidified NFL quarterback, as rookie Shawn Marshall from Connecticut has just a 55.7 passer rating on the year. Marshall will most likely be completely overwhelmed the the talented and aggressive Philadelphia defense, so running back Adrian Peterson will need to be relied on.

Eagles' quarterback Donovan McNabb should have a field day with Minnesota's inconsistent defense, while Marshall will most likely struggle. If all goes as planned, the Eagles should be leaving Minnesota with a 7-2 record.
