Wade,Haslem,Wright to Front Office:"We want to stay in Miami"

Seems like nothing can go wrong in Miami. Just completed seven game win streak to put them in the heart of Eastern Conference, Dwyane Wade is returning back to his old self, and now three key pieces of their team want contract extensions to stay in Miami.

Dorell Wright, Udonis Haslem, and Dwyane Wade, who are shown above, all asked the Miami Heat for contract extensions at the same time.

"They all came into my office after the Orlando game and said they wanted to stay in Miami." GM Matt Albin said. "These three players are the last three from the championship season, and it looks like they want to stay and try to win another one."

Of course, this by no means hurts the Heat at all. All these players were going to be focused on being signed in the off season. And these players are key contributors too. This is a big gain for the Heat.

Dwyane Wade, who is 27 years and has a career scoring average of 25 points per game, is looking at a max contract, which he deserves. The length of it is still to be discussed.

The 29 year old Udonis Haslem will be much cheaper. He is willing to take a major pay cut, going from 7.1M this season to 2.45M to start his new contract. The Heat are looking to sign him to a 2 year 4.68M.

Dorell on the other hand, is only 24 despite being in the league for 6 years. He still has untapped potential and this may be the turning point of his career. The Heat are trying to lock him up, and he isn't going to be expensive. Look for him to be signed with 3 or 4 year contract with a team option for around 13-17M.

You should be able to bounce back with ease against NY.

So much for my prediction against the Blazers.....the stay at .500 was brief, but I know the Heat will eventually get over the hump

Nice that three important players want to remain in Miami......I didn't know Haslem was only 29, for some reason I thought he was a lil older

D Wade in foul trouble was horrible. I have no other real slashers that can play the SG, and that's what I like at SG.

the knicks are tough in this game

if they get an open shot they will drain it too often
