Purdue Lands 5 Recruits After Vists to Great Game Against the Illini
The Purdue Boilermakers made huge steps for there future this past week, nabbing a 5 star recruit, three four star, and a three star recruit. All of them should be receiving decent playing time in the next upcoming season. Purdue is also has the sixth best recruiting class this season so far. Here is a little scouting report on the recruits.
Caleb Medlock :5star: #2 overall MLB
The Purdue Boilermakers were very lucky to get this stud from Ohio. Caleb is ranked as the 33rd best recruit in the nation. He is a past linebacker with a great pursuit. He's more of an agile type of linebacker then a power one, as he stands at 5'11. But don't get the wrong impression, the man is strong.
Alex Wilson :4star: #11 HB
Alex Wilson is another top 100 recruit heading to Purdue this season. Ranked as the 68th best recruit this year, he man has speed. He ran a 4.40 in his 40. Combine that speed with his ankle breaking spin move, and you have a star in the making.
Deonte Pollard :4star: #7 ATH
Deonte Pollard may be a Junior College Transfer, but it seems as if he was one that Purdue could not pass on. Pollard is ranked as the 119th best player in this season's recruiting class. He is blazing quick with a 4.42 40 time, and his work ethic is outstanding. He is pretty strong for his 6 foot, 181 pound frame. He is projected to play a safety for the Boilers. He will be in competition with Aaron Hill next season it seems like for starting FS.
Luke Bowman :4star: #7 DE
Luke Bowman may be able to take the spot that is going to be left by Ryan Kerrigan at the end of this season. This guy is a man child. The 166th best recruit in this recruiting class has blazing speed and great strength. He will be a force to be reckon with in a season or two.
Andy Young :3star: #16 FS
Andy James is a ball hawk to say the least. The man runs a 4.44 40 time, and played great as a receiver in high school. He is very raw talent wise, but has potential that is screaming to be tapped. It looks like he may have that chance at Purdue.sig is too big, resize itComment
