My offense is based of spread play action out of the gun, and I'd get about 2 seconds to throw and my Sophomore QB was getting flustered.
Good to hear man

Preseason lookout of Purdue's offense for 2011
QB
Caleb TerBush had a whole spring and summer to mature into a great Quarter Back, and it looks like this season could bring him national recognition. With his 6'5 frame and already great throw power, he focused on his throw accuracy and it looks like it improved greatly. Rob Henry will be backing up Caleb.
RB/FB
Ralph Bolden would have been a Heisman Candidate last season if he didn't get hurt. In his Senior season, he looks to finally take that step from a good Big 10 running back to one of the nation's best running backs. Dan Dierking also has improved greatly and will be backing up Bolden. He is not as fast as Bolden, but he can break tackles like none other. Frank Halliburton will be the starting full back this season, but next season the transfer full back Sam Spitz will be taking over.
WR
David Graham. Remember that name. The man is a monster. 6'3, 180 pounds who ran a 4.34 40 last year is going to be put in the slot this year as a true freshmen. He will be one of the two offensive X factors for the Boilers. Eric Williams was a Freshmen All American last year, playing great towards the end of the season in the slot. He will be the #2 receiver to start the season, behind the always reliable Joe Holland.
TE
Gabe Holmes coming into his Junior season is emerging as one of the best Tight Ends in the nation. He is the other Boilermakers X Factors. If this 6'6 frame can get any space against a line backer or safety, throw it to him. He can also blow past most line backers with his speed. He is going to blossom into a fantastic player this year, I have a great feeling.
Tackles
Dennis Kelly and James Shepherd will be starting at the Tackles for the Boilermakers this season, but another tackle will also be starting. Bob Thomas, the true freshmen, #1 recruit in last seasons recruiting class, will be taking over left guard this season. He will be the starting LT next season as both Kelly and Shepherd are Seniors. Expect great protections out of all of those guys.
Guards
Bryan Bailey emerged as a great tackle in his Freshmen year. He will look to improve from his All Big 10 year last season.
Centers
Austen Moret will make his Senior season memorable, along with other starting tackles Dennis Kelly and James Shepherd. He will be a second team All American, at the least. Stay tuned for the Defensive and Special teams preview.

Preseason lookout of Purdue's defense for 2011
LE
Replacing All American Ryan Kerrigan is going to be a touch job, but Robert Maci should get the job done for this season. The experienced Senior will be starting this year as Luke Bowman is red shirted so he can be the starter next season.
RE
Nickcaro Golding has not recorded a stat in his 5 years at Purdue, but it looks like this year he may get a chance to get a lot. But it may not come, as Kenneth Blanchard is having great practices and may be a true Freshmen starter this year.
DT
Kawann Short is turning into a game changer on defense. This Junior season should really prove if this kid has NFL talent or just a great college player. Monroe Brooks will be taking over the other starting defensive tackle position.
LB
Joe Holland and Chris Carlino; I'm putting them on the preseason All American list, and keeping them there until the end of the season. Those guys are great players. But the question mark in the Boilers' line backing corps is the ROLB. They can either start the Junior College Transfer Deonte Pollard who has speed like none other or the true Junior Lee Thomas who is a little more powerful.
CB
Corner back was obviously the Purdue Boilermakers weak spot last season. They certainly attacked it during recruiting. They recruited six corner backs to come to Purdue. All of them were some of the fastest in the country. Maybe all these recruits weren't made just to recruit them, but maybe add speed, something Purdue is not known for.
FS
Ishmael Aristide had a fantastic season last year as a red shirt Freshmen. He had 73 tackles and 3 interceptions. Question is, has Aaron Hill really improved as much as every says to become the starter, or is he still even with him?
SS
Well another season, and Mark Chase is back, better than ever. He watched a lot of film this off season, becoming a smarter player. No doubt this man is a lock at this position.
K/P
Carson Wiggs emerged as one of the best kickers last season. He yet again improved and is more accurate to go along with his power. The Boilers recruited one of the best punters. He will be red shirted this year, and will be the starting punter next season. Reggie Hamby will probably be cut after this season.
I hope you enjoyed the team preview. Go Boilers!

I'll have the first game up after the Purdue game.
I don't know what the fuck I did with the CAP's..
I searched through all the WR's in the NCAA and Deonte James was not there, and Jake Forge must of gotten cut cause he's not on LSU anymore..
Plus the rest of the them are Seniors. I think I made the mistake of putting them as Seniors when I made them because that's what you had to do on CHOOPS 2k8 so they go to college next year. My bad guys, I'll open a new thread for next season.sig is too big, resize itComment
