Taking Over The Big Ten | A Purdue Boilermakers Dynasty
Nice class, and that transfer should be good for you.
Thanks, and oh yeah, now that he's a 94 overall, it sure will help :elephant:

plus the transfer.
haha yeah, I moved the 5 star strong safety to Corner back since he'd be starting, and I didn't want him waiting behind Mark Chase. I'm leaving the other two behind Chase. Everything is working out great. I just wish I had some more depth on the D Line.. I have 3 RE/LE combined and only 4 DT's .
QB
Caleb TerBush will be going into his last season as Purdue Quarterback, and he wants to make it a good one. He has high hopes for this season, and I could see him finishing top 5 in the Heisman voting.
RB/FB
The Boilermakers will not have star running backs this season. But they sure won't be bad. Al Terek McBurse is capable of running the ball for this team, and transfer fullback Sam Spitz is a great fullback. This could be the sleeper of this Purdue team, or the weakness.
WR
David Graham gas gotten stronger in the off season. A lot stronger. And that only makes him better. This man was snubbed of Heisman last year, there's no doubt in my mind he should of won it. He was still an All American as a Freshman. Impressive. Him and Eric Williams will be leading this Wide Receiver corps this year.
TE
Gabe Holmes is going into his final season as Purdue Tight End. He was named best Tight End in the nation last off season and is an All American. Though this is his last year, Purdue has two other Tight Ends that can step up and carry his lost load. Edward Johnson is capable of starting on nearly anytime and John Gilliam is coming off his red shirt season and may see some significant playing time in the red zone for the Boilers
Tackles
Two years removed from his status as the number one recruit in the nation, Bob Thomas is going to be starting at his natural position this year for the Boilers. Last season he started at Left Guard and played pretty well for a Freshman. Peters Drey will finally get his chance to start at Right Tackle and he looks to have a great season.
Guards
Bryan Bailey had another good year for the Boiler and looks to make another one happen his Junior year. starting on the other side of him will be James Marks. Keith Smith was a top 30 recruit this past recruiting class and will be red shirted this season.
Centers
Andrew Brewer is another offensive lineman that is getting his first chance to start as a Senior. Jabari Lott is a converted Tight End that is improving rapidly and looks to be the starting Center next year for the Boilermakers. Stay tuned for your defensive outlook for 2012!
LE
Luke Bowman got his red shirt last year and really improved on his strength. He looks to have a breakout season along side his other end from the same recruiting class, Kenneth Blanchard.
RE
Kenneth Blanchard is getting his chance to get consistent playing time starting this year. He is a man made machine with a 6'1 237 frame. He could be the next Ryan Kerrigan.
DT
Kawann Short and Monroe Brooks are the best defensive tackle combo in the NCAA, no contest. No doubt that these players will be playing on Sundays next year. James Berry comes in and will make an impact next year.
LB
Now that Purdue has lost all three of their star line backers in Joe Holland, John Humphrey, and Chris Carlino, it's time for a new set of young linebackers to step in and take that roll. Starting this year for the Boilers will me Lee Thomas at LOLB, Caleb Medlock at MLB, and Deonte Pollard at ROLB. They are all talented, but they have little experience outside of Pollard. They will learn some this year.
CB
Antavian Edison is coming into his last season as a Boilermaker and he has sure come a long way. From not playing a down as a Freshmen he has started every game the past two seasons and has intercepted 12 passes. He has NFL potential, and I see him raising his stock this year. They have transfer Dominic Clarke coming in from Ohio State and will be the starting corner back next year.
FS
Ishmael Aristide had another great season last year, giving him another All American honor. He now comes in as a 4th year Junior with a five star recruit coming in behind him. He better play well with his spot, or he may lose it!
SS
Mark Chase is coming off his first All American season and has only improved this season. Watching film and working on strength was his key goals in the off season and he seems to be back better than ever. He has two top 100 recruits coming in behind him but he will not lose his starting job, we know that.
K/P
Isaac Sullivan looks like the starting punter and kicker for the Boilermakers this year. He has the biggest boot and is very accurate. That red shirted year sure helped him from the looks of it.
I hope you enjoyed the team preview. Lets cheer on the Boilers for another great season!
