Ok, here's the scenario. In my chise, I'm the cowboys and I'm 4-1. I want to get rid of terence newman since Orlando and jenkins are playing extremely well. I traded newman straight up for merriwether(sp?) from the pats. my reasoning is that pat chung had a huge preseason when brandon was injured.
My question, what should the actual trade be, who would it be more realistic to get, and what trade value Newman has pick wise.Comment

In real life he gets released or kept for insurance if there is an injury.
1. What would it take for the Cowboys to get Merriweather? Obviously he can be traded for as they drafted someone who plays the same position he does with their second round pick. I can do various players and picks.
2. What is Terence's trade value? If i want to trade him to a team who could desperately use another good corner in order to make a push, what pick level would i be able to get?
3. Other than Merriweather, who would be a good safety that i can trade Newman for? I dont mind trading for a player who is technically worse as long as he has some upside such as age or a good contract. Sean Jones would come to mind but the eagles dont need another corner, and i wouldnt trade within the division to start with.Comment

I need a new number 1 WR in my franchise (Since Antonio Byrant's contract is ending), and is looking for a good/great physical (strong and fast) receiver who is quite realistic to get.
First person that i tought of was Dwayne Bowe. He is having some problems (NFL drug violation), wich maybe makes the Chiefs wanting to trade him.
What would you guys think is realistic to trade away for Bowe? (I'm Buccaneers btw.) Or maybe any of you can mention some other physically great receiver, who is realistic to get, I can trade for?Comment

What are their OVRs? If you are looking for Draft Picks I would say Anderson could fetch a 3 and 4 if he is in the low 70s.
You might need to package a decent player with him. Do you have anyone with an expiring contract in the mid-80s?Comment

I'm in trouble CAP wise.
I simmed the 2010 season just to see what would happen in the 2011 season and I will be in HUGE CAP trouble. I'll only have 4.22m available. Therefore would it be realistic to trade players away to conserve cap for next year? I seriously don't know what to do lol.
Some players I was thinking of trying was my DT and maybe a WR. IDK. They are all doing so good for me though that it would suck trading them.
