I feel so bad ass when I return a kick in madden it feels awesome. Good stuff mike. Saw your useing some sliders for the game too. I'm gonna have to try them. Where do you put them in? I don't see a thing to put in sliders like they have the options in 2k9's franchise mode to put them in. I'm gonna have to see if I can put them in on the main menu.

lol, yeah returning kickoffs for td's is pretty dope. Roscoe Parris is crazy fast (95 speed) and just accelerates through holes, providing my blockers can make them.

I haven't played Madden since 06' but returning a kickoff for a touchdown in 3 straight games now seems a but much. lol.

Either that or Roscoe Parris is just that much of a BAMF.

You put the sliders in on the CPU/Player Skill menu.

And I throw a lot as well. Madden's engine fucked? I don't know. Although I have defended a lot of shitty quarterbacks so far this year. Brady Quinn, etc. It's not like I was forcing Tom Brady into 3 int's. I didn't even pick off 1 last game on Kerry Collins.

"My Skill for player", which is somewhere between all-pro and all madden and everything else very close to default except for CPU Pass Block which is down to 5. I'm still ranked #32 in sacks per game despite having a pretty good D-Line. :joystick:

Oh well, at least we stop the run.

In all honesty though, I think I'm going to need to find some more challenging sliders to keep this interesting. I don't think my rush D should be this good despite me being really good defending the run every year I've played Madden.

            Fitzpatrick To Start Against Jaguars

Trent Edwards was having another sub par day in the Bills 31-9 win against the Titans on Sunday throwing for only 136 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions before leaving the game early in the 4th quarter with a bruised elbow.

While the injury isn't serious, the Bills were able to get their first glimpse of backup QB Ryan Fitzpatrick this season.

Fitzpatrick came in and threw a perfect 5 for 5 for 85 yards, including a 41 yard touchdown pass to Terrell Owens.

Fitzpatrick is a former Harvard star and Rams' seventh-round pick. He started 12 games for the Bengals last season in place of an injured Carson Palmer. He fared well considering the circumstances: 59.4 completion percentage, 1,905 passing yards, eight touchdowns and nine interceptions.

Long story short, Fitzpatrick has proven quite capable of handling a team's starting duties.

Bills Head Coach Dick Jauron told reporters at their practice facility today that Fitzpatrick would be receiving the starting nod in the Bills upcoming game against the 7-2 Jaguars.

"Needless to say, Trent isn't having the best season so far. I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't help put this team in the best position to win games. We'll give Ryan a shot and hope for the best."

Let's just hope this episode of "Terrell Owens and a backup quarterback" plays out better than when Dallas signed an aging Brad Johnson to fill in for an injured Tony Romo a season ago.

                  Week 11 Preview
Sunday, November 22, 1:00 PM @ Jacksonville Municipal Stadium

                  (7-2) @ (7-2)

The Bills took care of business last week against a struggling Titans team, sending them to their 8th straight loss.

However, the Bills now face the test of going up against a team that is red-hot.

After losing their first 2 games of the season, the Jaguars have won their last 7, despite injuries to some key players.

Including quarterback David Garrard who suffered an arm fracture in the Jaguars win against the Jets a season ago.

Garrard was previously having one of his best seasons as a pro, about to eclipse the 2000 yard mark on the year and already connecting on 13 touchdowns and only throwing 6 picks.

The Bills will also be giving their backup, Ryan Fitzpatrick the start in this one. Will he able to lead the team to their 4th straight win?

Breaking News! Jaguars Sign Former Bill

With the UFL apparently not coming to fruition in this struggling economy and the Jaguars desperately needing a quarterback to fill in for the injured David Garrard, the Jaguars have signed quarterback J.P. Losman.

                            Here's the kicker.

Garrard is only expected to miss 1 game, this week's matchup against the Bills.

J.P. Losman is a former 1st round pick of the Bills.

Though wanting to be traded, Losman continued playing for the Bills in 2008. Losman played in place of an injured Trent Edwards intermittently throughout the season with limited success. The team did not win a game with Losman, even a game he fumbled away that appeared to be a win, against the Jets.

Losman's contract expired at the end of the 2008 season and the Bills made no effort to keep him, instead replacing him with Ryan Fitzpatrick, who is slated to start in this week's matchup against the Jaguars as well.

Perhaps the Jaguars have signed Losman with the assumption he has something to prove to his former team and can possibly scrape out a win for them in the week Garrard is forced to nurse an injury,

Either way, this should provide some interesting drama to follow this Sunday.
