    Week 7 Preview
Sunday, October 24, 1:00 PM @ Ralph Wilson Stadium

    (4-2) vs (2-4)

After busting out of the gates this season with an impressive 4-0 start, the Bills have endured defeat in their past two games.

They will look to get back into the win column against the Jets, whom they split the season series with a season ago.

The Jets are ranked last in the AFC East and it's easy to see why.

Their 29% 3rd down conversion percentage is amongst the league's worst.

A good indication of whether a team will or will not win a game balances on whether they can convert on third down.

The Bills will have to contain Mark Sanchez, who is making strides in his sophomore season (1,116YDS 11TD 2INT) if they hope to snap their 2 game losing streak in week 7.

Jets Key Additions: RE Alex Brown (79), LE Chauncey Davis (79)

Exactly the same way houshmandzadeh is for me lol. Tough loss michael. :dito:

            Edwards Starting To Come Around

Trent Edwards Stats In Past 3 Games:
"He's just got to be more careful with the ball."

Something we heard all too often last season when referring to Bills quarterback Trent Edwards.

"But he can't be, you know, you can't be timid. You've got to pull the trigger."

"You can't go in fearful and play any position in this game, particularly at quarterback."

It appears Buffalo Bills head coach Dick Jauron's words are finally starting to sink into his quarterback's head.

"Edwards has the tools and football smarts to be something more than a game manager at this level," Jauron says. "When he is consistent, decisive; He can win this team a lot of football games."

Edwards is finally starting to "grip it and rip it", passing for 300 yards in the Bills past 3 games.

"I've learned you can be cautious all you want, but mistakes will still happen. It's the NFL," explained Edwards at the team's practice facility. "I'm starting to trust what I see."

Despite the Bills enduring losses in their 3 past games, it's clear that Edwards is starting to take the next step in his development because he is finally playing like a confident NFL quarterback.

                      Week 8 Preview
Sunday, October 31, 1:00 PM @ Ralph Wilson Stadium

                      (4-3) vs (0-6)

The Bills have lost 3 straight but certainly don't have it as bad as the lowly Lions, who are still winless on the season.

And while the Bills current losing streak should be cause of concern, it certainly doesn't warrant full-blown panic. That is of course, unless they happen to lose their 4th straight to the Lions in this week 8 matchup.

With Matthew Stafford out with a torn hamstring, quarterback Kellen Clemens will start in his place.

Rewind back to week 6 of last season. http://www.virtualsportsnetwork.com/...&postcount=143

The same Kellen Clemens that torched the Bills for 382 yards and 4 touchdown passes as a member of the Jets.

The Lions may be 0-6 but if the Bills take the Lions lightly and fail to come through here, they could end up the laughing stock of the league for the rest of the week, if not the season.

                      Happy Halloween!
