        Quick Hits

        - Backup QB Tarvaris Jackson got laid out in week 1 as he was trying to get a pass off. Jackson came up clinching his arm in pain. Tests later revealed that Jackson had suffered a Torn Bicep and will be sidelined for up to 7 weeks. The Bills signed Alex Smith to a 1 year deal worth $750k to meet the league's minimum roster requirements.

        - Return specialist Roscoe Parrish returns from a torn shoulder labrum injury he suffered this preseason. Coach Lovie Smith has decided that Parrish will be the designated kickoff returner while Quinton Brown will remain the team's punt returner. Brown returned a punt for 72 yards and a touchdown in the Bills week 1 victory over the Dolphins. It's the first punt return the Bills have taken in for a touchdown in over 3 years.

Great draft there, the safety spots are tied up for a few years to come.

Please, please can you tell me how you space your tables out? Mine are all squashed up.
Make the number before the "em" bigger.

If your table code is set to "15em", make it 25/30/35/40 until you find a width you like.

I haven't coded the table myself, just used the table tags.
There is a stickied thread in the franchises forum for tables that show you the code. Just copy and paste it and take it from there.

Breaking News! Tom Brady's Career Comes To An Abrupt End

The Patriots were enjoying a 34-7 lead over the Arizona Cardinals heading into the 4th quarter. Tom Brady had already thrown for over 300 yards and for 4 touchdowns on the Arizona defense. The game was in the books. Bill Belichick could've easily pulled his starting quarterback from the game. But he didn't.

              And then it happened.

Cardinals SS Adrian Wilson, who is notorious for landing punishing hits on quarterbacks, came on a blitz and crushed Brady from the blind side.

The Gilette Stadium's collective boo's turned to gasp's as they saw their franchise quarterback on the floor, not moving.

Brady would have to be taken off the field by paramedics. Tests would later reveal that Brady had fractured 2 of the vertebrae in his back. After experiencing numbness and tingling in his limbs, it was determined that he required surgery to fuse the two verterbrae.

Brady is forced to say good bye to the game at the age of 35.

In 13 seasons in the NFL, Brady has thrown over 40,000 yards and 297 touchdown passes.

An absolutely devestating loss for the Patriots as well as the entire league.

                    Week 2 Preview
Sunday, September 16, 1:00 PM @ Ralph Wilson Stadium

                    (1-0) vs (1-0)

It's tough if you're a Patriots fan right now. Real tough.

In a matter of 1 game, the face of your franchise suffered a career-ending injury; your team's big free agency acquisition this offseason is going to be sidelined for 10 weeks.

                    Talk about a complete 180.

Despite missing the playoffs a season ago for the first time in God know's how long, the Patriots have been one of the most dominant NFL franchises over the past decade.

But now, the immediate future looks very grim and noone can really say how long it will take for the league's most prestigious franchises to get back on their feet.

Thomas Jones, who went unsigned in free agency, was picked up earlier in the week by New England.

An odd move if you ask me, considering the Pats still have Darren Sproles on the roster.

Patriots Key Additions: HB Ladainian Tomlinson (94), HB Thomas Jones (85)

It's hard to lure big superstars to a place like Buffalo. You would think with the success I've brought to the franchise it would be easier but not the case
You have brung nothing to the Bills!! come back to me when you lose four straight superbowls like the 90's Bills

Only breaking a 10 year playoff absence and winning a division title for the first time in 15 years.
