    Week 7 Preview
Sunday, October 21, 4:00 PM vs Ralph Wilson Stadium

    (4-2) vs (1-4)

After the Patriots won the Super Bowl 2 seasons ago, injuries plagued that team early on in the season and they sputtered to a sub .500 record and missed the playoffs.

Coincidentally, the Ravens won the Super Bowl a season ago and seem to be suffering a similar fate. While the team hasn't had any significant injuries (aside from their best receiver Early Doucet), the reigning Super Bowl Champions are finding it difficult to win games.

And while the Bills should consider themselves doing well sitting atop the AFC East at 4-2, there are definite concerns regarding this team's ability to contend for a championship.

Most of the concerns surround the offense, in particular, the Bills running game.

After receiving a hefty 4 year, 26 million dollar contract extension this offseason, Bills running back Marshawn Lynch has not exactly performed up to the Bills expectations, posting a career low 2.8 YPC average.

Additionally, the inconsistency of Trent Edwards appears to rearing it's ugly head, as Edwards managed to throw 4 picks in the Bills loss to the Chargers a week ago.

The Bills will have to find a way to put points on the board against a stingy Ravens D if they hope to depart from this week 7 matchup in the win column.

Ravens Key Additions: CB Asher Allen (84)

          lol who? Edwards?

haha. He's thrown for 3,000+ yards in each of my first 3 seasons and showed serious signs of improvement last season.

With hiring Lovie Smith (and trying to keep it realistic in a sense), using the new playbook is an adjustment that I'm still making.

If my running game is on, Edwards can kill it. But when I'm forcing passes to get at least 10 yards on 3rd down because my runningbacks run into walls on the 1st 2 downs, it's tough and picks are going to happen.

lol yeah, Kurt Warner retired. Henne is the man now in Arizona.

Look at Hasselbeck. WTF 8 touchdowns in 1 game? That's rediculous.

Rofl, just looked it up. They shit on the Texans 61-39. Good god.

            Week 8 Preview
Monday, October 29, 9:00 PM @ Giants Stadium

            (5-2) @ (1-6)

After finishing 8-8 a season ago and sneaking into the playoffs, it appeared that maybe the Jets were on the rise and a return to relevancy was imminent. Unfortunately, the Jets failed to make any significant acquisitions in the offseason and actually took a step back. as they allowed both Thomas Jones and Shonn Greene to walk this offseason.

So much for that return to relevancy. The Jets have returned to the AFC East cellar starting off the 2012 season at a dismal 1-6.

However, the Jets have always been a thorn in the Bills' proverbial side in these division rivalry games.

The Bills defense has shouldered the burden of an offense still adjusting to Lovie Smith's approach this season and will probably have to do the same if Marshawn Lynch and Trent Edwards can't get it going in this one.

No kidding. That was a crazy game. I didn't force them into any turnovers, heck, didn't even get any sacks but my defense buckled down and forced them to punt often.

                  So sweet.

Where's The Marshawn We Know And Love?

Marshawn Lynch was and always has been an intergral part of this Bills offense. Especially so last year, where he posted career high's in total yards and yards per carry average to help propel the Bills to an impressive 13-3 finish on the year.

Coincidentally, the 2011-12 season was Lynch's contract year.

The BIlls would've been silly to allow Marshawn to walk this offseason and eventually came to terms with Lynch, sigining him to hefty 4 year contract extension.

But since earning the big paycheck, Lynch hasn't exactly lived up to the expectations of the Bills faithful this season, and they've let him know about it.

"People are going to say what they want to say, you know," Lynch told reporters at the Bills practice facility this past week. "I read it in the papers, I see it on the TV. I hear the boo's in the stands. They say, "Oh, he got his paycheck. He doesn't need to play good anymore." That's a bunch of bullshit."

Obviously, Lynch is disappointed with his performance so far this season. Perhaps, this criticism could be the fuel that lights a fire under him to get him back to playing like the 2-time Pro Bowler that he is.

"I've played under Jauron since I came in the league, you know, and it's an adjustment. This is my first season playing under a different coach and I'm still trying to find my place in Lovie's (Smith) system. We've been working on some things though, trying to get back to where I used to be."

                    Hopefully sooner than later Marshawn.

The Marshawn we know and love has been gone for far too long.

                    Oh hey, that rhymes.

                        Wrong.

                        Lynch is the shit.

He's on pace to finish with around the same amount of carries as well. You do realize I'm only halfway through the season right?
