Week 4 Preview
Sunday, October 6, 1:00 PM @ Ralph Wilison Stadium
(3-0) vs (1-2)
After finishing 4-12 a season ago thanks to an ineffective offensive attack, the Buccaneers drafted Carnell Bryant and traded for former Bills wide receiver Earl Bennett.
Despite the offseason acquisitions though, the Bucs offense is still a work in progress.
The Bucs struggles surround quarterback Josh Freeman, who has sputtered out of the gates this year, throwing 4 interceptions and only 1 touchdown pass in 3 games.
And it's not like things are going to get any easier for him this week. The Bills defense leads the league in sacks, and held the Steelers to only 6 points a week ago.
If the Bucs offense can't find a way to get it going in this week 4 matchup, chances are we will see the Bills head into their bye week undefeated.
Buccaneers Key Additions: HB Carnell Bryant R* (84), WR Earl Bennett (84), CB Brandon Hughes (76)

Needless to say, not a whole lot of defense was played by either team in that one.
I took Trent Edwards out in the 4th to avoid getting him injured and get Ford some throws. Even short throws turned into big gains. lol, it was rediculous.
I considered resetting the game and playing it over. If that happens again, I definitely will (and possibly consider new sliders) but I suppose it could happen, considering how shitty the Bucs are and all.

Sick win bro.
Maybe it's these new AFL jerseys.

I have to run some errands so maybe sometime later today, a player/team stats update as well as an article for the Bucs game, etc etc.
I lost a player for the season in that Bucs game.Last edited by mfbmike; 09-27-2009, 02:05 PM.Comment

On my days off, I usually get 2-3, maybe 4 in. Mostly because I haven't been going out as much lately trying to save money.
This started on what, August 14th? So this chise has been going for 45 days approximately?
I've played up to this point, 73 games counting all postseason games if I'm doing the math correctly. 73/45 = 1.62
So on average, I play 1.62 games a day. It doesn't seem all that much once you break it down like that. Games only take about 30-45 minutes to play.Comment

Not to mention, an interception on the 1st play of one of their drives + a fumble on a kickoff return. It was just stupid how quick the points piled up. Like if you were to see it happening in real life, you'd be in shock that a team could suck so bad.Comment
