Divisional Playoff Preview: Steelers vs Texans
Injuries
Pittsburgh:LOLB Lamarr Woodley, QB Ben Roethlisberger, QB Michael Vick, QB Chris Simms, LG Chris Kemoeatu: All out for season
Texans captain Matt Schaub will look to lead his team to their first ever playoff victory.
The Texans as a franchise have yet to win a playoff game. They will be looking to change that as this year, the Steelers are coming to Reliant Stadium to face the Texans.
The Texans had a shaky season, to say the least. They started the season off with a loss after losing both Andre Johnson and Steve Slaton, but rookies like CJ Spiller and Arrelious Benn stepped up their games and have played fantastic all year. They will need them to keep that up. They will be some of the biggest X-Factors. But they aren't the biggest X-Factor. Matt Schaub is.
Last year, Matt Schaub may of threw for 267 yards, but he threw for 4 interceptions. That was the reason why the Texans lost, straight up. They will need a better effort from captain Matt Schaub.
Now lets get to the Steelers. They are injured, and they are missing their best player, Big Ben, and two of his backups, Mike Vick and Chris Simms. That leaves the Steelers with none other than DAVID CARR starting at quarter back. Yes, the David Carr that was a bust for the Texans. He will be hearing some strong boos from the crowd today.
With those quarter backs out, the Steelers will have to rely on their run game of Willie Parker and Rashard Mendenhall to get them yards. They won in the first game 9-6 in over time, it doesn't look like the score will look like that in this game.
