The Texans look to start a winning streak against the 49ers.
The 49ers are surprisingly 4-1, but they only have 9 offensive touchdowns in those games, and Alex Smith and Shaun Hill are both out with injuries. Rookie Nate Davis is going to have to have a good game against the Texans to keep the 49ers in contention. Frank Gore has really struggled this season, and his running opportunities have been cut a lot.
All the Texans have to do is not make mistakes and just play Texans football. We will see if that will happen.
Amobi Okoye is emerging as one of the best young DT's in the League.
After defeating the 49ers at home, the Texans head to Buffalo to take on the Bills.
The Texans defense will have to get pressure on Trent Edwards, as he is very prone to make mistakes. He was projected to throw the most interceptions in a season in NFL history this season, maybe the coaching change made that not happen.
Lynch and Jackson have both had tough years on the ground. Neither average more then 3.4 yards a carry. That should not help much this game as the Texans have one of the best run stopping defenses in the NFL.
This should be the Texans coldest game of the year, as it is projected to have a high of 61 in Buffalo.
