Losing Bradford really hurt but I was really surprised how well Trent played. He has progressed nicely since last season. We'll see how he does down the road. I still think its a big maybe whether or not we make the playoffs. Its going to be that much harder without Bradford most of the way. Our schedule is just brutal too.

Yeah that one really hurt. That's what happens though when Joey Porter gets a free release and someone misses a block.

Thanks man! Yeah, Trent definitely played a lot better than expected. I just hope he can keep it up. It's going to be a tough road to make the playoffs but if Trent can continue to play well we have a shot.

If Edwards gets injured we are going to be in real trouble. I need Lynch to get rolling again as well so I don't have to put all the pressure on my shaky quarterback situation.

Thanks a lot man! I am really really happy with the results I am getting. It took endless hours of messing around to get the sliders just right but they work perfectly for me. All the games are reasonably challenging and I feel like I am getting pretty realistic results. Hopefully the Bills can grow into champions but I think we are definitely going in the right direction.

Yeah, a part of me is really intrigued to see if Edwards can continue to play well. Thompson has been quietly been having a great rookie season so far. His size and speed makes him just deadly in the slot. He's had a few more drops then I would like but I kind of expect that from a rookie.

              (2-1) vs. (2-2)

Bills QB Trent Edwards is once again back at the helm of the offense following the injury of rookie QB Sam Bradford.

              3 Key Matchups to Watch

1)QB Trent Edwards vs. Vikings Secondary: Edge: Vikings

2)HB Adrian Peterson vs. Bills Front Seven: Edge: Vikings

3)QB Tyler Thigpen vs. Bills Secondary: Edge: Bills

              Prediction:
Bills fans who were looking forward to seeing first round pick QB Sam Bradford take the field will have to wait a while after Bradford went down with a herniated disk last week. The Bills finally play at home after starting off the season with four road games in a row. QB Trent Edwards is once again the man in Buffalo after rallying the Bills back last week to a 21-20 victory over the division rival Miami Dolphins. This week he takes on a much more formidable defense in the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings boast one of the best defensive lines in football led by all pro RE Jared Allen. If the Bills are to have a shot in this one their running game has to get going. The Vikings continue to have quarterback woes as they search for a franchise guy. Current starter Tyler Thigpen is assumed to be a fill in until the Vikings can find a more long term solution. HB Adrian Peterson will be the main weapon for the Vikings offense. Look for him to have a big day. Vikings come out the winner in this one 28-14.

Predict: Trent Edwards is going to light it up filling in for Bradford's injury, eventually forcing you to start him despite Bradford being healthy enough to return.

Bills Holdoff Vikings Late Comeback to Win 33-28

Bills WR Lee Evans hauls in a third quarter touchdown.

                      (2-2)- 28
                      (3-2)- 33

AP Buffalo – The Buffalo Bills won their second game in a row knocking off the Minnesota Vikings 33-28. The game started off low scoring as both offenses struggled to get going. Bills QB Trent Edwards had a rough day completing less than half his passes. However, Edwards did not turn the ball over and hooked up with WR Lee Evans in the third quarter for a score.

Bills HB Marshawn Lynch had a spectacular game and was the only source of offense for the Bills in the first half. His first quarter score from 60 yards out helped to give the Bills a 10-7 lead heading into halftime.

The Vikings took the lead midway through the third quarter as Vikings WR Percy Harvin caught his second touchdown pass of the game. However, it would be all Bills after that. The Vikings kick return team suffered a total collapse as they fumbled back-to-back kickoffs both of which were returned for touchdowns. The Bills special teams scored 14 points in 12 seconds. The Bills would hold on for the victory despite a late 4th quarter touchdown from Vikings QB Tyler Thigpen.

“I can’t say enough about our special teams. Those guys were amazing. I mean 14 points in 12 seconds, that’s just incredible.” -Bills Special Teams Coach Steve Crosby

The Bills head into their bye week with a 3-2 record and currently in second place in the AFC East. The Vikings will travel back home to take on the undefeated Chicago Bears (4-0).

Thanks for checking in man! You may be right Edwards has been decent so far. If that were to happen I'm not sure what I would do.

Thanks man! He played decently enough against me but we still managed to pull out the win. I still think the Vikings will look to replace him. I gave up some plays in the passing game I shouldn't have because I was so worried about AP getting loose.

Yeah, Trent didn't play great but luckily it was good enough fro us to get by. If Marshawn can keep carrying the offense we could do pretty well. Our pass defense has got to step up though...getting destroyed by Thigpen is not a good sign.
