yeah I took a long time fine tuning my sliders to make it challenging and realistic. If the scores get out of hand or stats become skewed I can redo them during the offseason. If people are curious I can post my exact slider settings they were based off Bill's V3 and then modified by me just playing with them for a while.

I would like to see this sliders, you could PM them to me if you want! I am ok with the ones I have but I am finding it hard to stop the other teams offense.

Is It Time to Get Your Popcorn Ready?
Well, Bills’ fans the long wait is over, football has finally returned. With the start of preseason just around the corner, it’s time to look at our Bills.
The Terrell Owens circus/headache/era or whatever you want to call it has officially arrived. You could not pay me enough to be Trent Edwards right now. Sure he brings his thousand yard, ten touchdown seasons, but I ask you is it really worth it? Our team has a coach on the hot seat, a quarterback who is shaky at best, and we decide to add Owens to the mix? I don’t see Owens helping Edwards find the confidence he has seemed to lack at times. I truly hope I will be eating my words by the end of the season and I will be writing about our juggernaut offense led by an Owens-Evans dual threat. This writer though is skeptical.
The offense has the potential if Owens can keep his head down and not throw a hissy fit every time the ball goes to Evans. The first four games, minus Marshawn Lynch, scare me. We open against the New England Patriots armed with Fred Jackson at running back. A return to the run game would be a welcome site. The days of Thurman Thomas are so far gone, I sometimes wonder if I dreamt them. The defense is there. The pass rush could be tremendous if first round pick, Aaron Maybin, is as good as advertised and Schobel can remain healthy. McGee and Whitner should be enough to make the pass defense at least decent. Unfortunately when it is all said and done another 7-9 finish seems imminent. Barring a dramatic performance from Edwards, I see us getting swept by the Patriots and finishing in the middle of the road for the AFC. We are on the edge of the fence and a push either way and we could be going to the playoffs as a wildcard or holding a top ten pick. Only time will tell. There is only one thing left to do as loyal Bills’ fans and that is to get our popcorn ready.

Five Things to Watch this Preseason:
        1. James Hardy and Justin Jenkins will battle it out for the fifth receiver spot on the roster. Rumor is that Hardy currently has the advantage coming out of training camp.
        2. How will the Bills utilize Maybin? If Schobel can stay healthy there’s a chance we could see Maybin at the left end position. Either way Maybin should see considerable playing time.
        3. Edwards to Owens? Will it work?
        4. The running game minus Marshawn
        5. The Bills have said they only want to keep four safeties that leaves two as odd men out. Who will they be?

Glad to have you following man! I'll post my sliders sometime tonight. They'll stay the same for at least the first season and then if there are major problems (in terms of realism and such) I will amend them during the offseason.

McAlister Among Flurry of Preseason Signings

-The Baltimore Ravens agreed to terms this morning with former pro-bowl corner Chris McAlister (86) . League sources speculate that it is a one year deal totalling close to $8.00 million dollars. Following last season the former Arizona stand out was cut by the Ravens. His resigning should shore up concerns at the corner position and he is expected to compete immediately for the starting job.

-The Kansas City Chiefs signed defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson (74) to a one year $3 million deal.

-The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms with former Buccaneers Pro-Bowl linebacker Derrick Brooks (77) to the tune of a one year deal worth $2.55 million.

-The Indianapolis Colts have agreed to terms with veteran outside linebacker Greg Ellis (80). He will be the favorite to start heading into the preseason. The deal is rumored to be worth around $3.00 million for one year.

Yeah, it was a really tough game. The score was a little skewed because I pulled my starters after the first quarter and my second and third string corners didn't have a prayer of keeping up with Hester. All in all though it was still a very poor showing. I have to get better play from the quarterback position. Needless to say we have a long ways to go.

Thanks! Glad to have you following man, I have always admired your work. Yeah, the offense was absolutely terrible. Hopefully there will be some improvement in the next preseason game.

Haha for real tell me about it. The offense was stagnant at best and the defense couldn't stop anything to save their life. Granted I pulled my starters after the first quarter but it was still abysmal. The quarterback play was terrible although Edwards didn't look too awful. Hopefully if the running game can get going, the offense will find more consistency. We have a long ways to go before we can call ourselves a contender.

X-ray results should be released sometime during the week. The Buffalo coaching staff, however, does not seem optimistic. Rooke LG Eric Wood will take over the starting job in LeVitre's absence.
