I love Cantwell's size, and he played really well maybe you have found a QB at last.

Yeah, I really like his size as well. I was surprised how well he played. I mean some throws were way off but he made the plays when it counted. This next game against the Patriots will be a really good test for him to see if last week was just a fluke or not. Prediction:
A win by the Patriots will clinch the AFC East title for them and secure them a spot in the playoffs. If the Bills lose it will be an uphill battle for them to try to grab a wildcard spot. Once again all eyes will be on young rookie QB Hunter Cantwell who shocked everyone by his surprising play last week against the Chiefs. The Patriots come in with a lot of injuries, most notably superstar WR Randy Moss. The Patriots run defense could also be vulnerable with several key linebackers injured. I think Cantwell doesn't do as well this time around. Patriots win this one but it will be closer than many expect. Patriots win 31-27.

Bills Comeback Hopes Fall Short: Patriots Win 38-31

AP Buffalo – The Bills could not muster quite enough as their comeback attempt fell short in a 38-31 loss to the Patriots. The loss will pretty much all but crush any hopes of a postseason for the Bills. While they are not statistically eliminated yet they have to have quite a few things break their way to make it in. On the first drive of the game, Bills rookie QB Hunter Cantwell was nailed in the chest and had to be helped off the field by trainers. He suffered a bruised sternum, which kept him out of the remainder of the game. He should be back to start next week’s game for the Bills. The Bills defense was helpless to stop the Patriots explosive offense led by QB Tom Brady. Brady had a near perfect day throwing for over 400 yards and three touchdowns.

However, the Bills battled back led by QB Trent Edwards who threw for 360 yards and four touchdowns. His two interceptions though came at the worst possible times. The Bills defense managed to hold the Patriots in check near the end of the 4th quarter and gave the Bills the ball back with a chance to tie up the game. However, Edwards was picked off by Patriots CB Leigh Bodden allowing the Patriots to run out the clock. The Bills will travel next week to take on the Atlanta Falcons (10-4). The Patriots will look to lock up their playoff spot as they battle the Jacksonville Jaguars (9-5).

Yeah, Trent actually played alright. We're not giving up on this season I mean we will play our hearts out but I don't see anyway we make the playoffs especially considering our last two games are against Atlanta (10-4) and the Colts (and we both know how good my pass defense has been...). That being said though I would love to win out and at least give us a shot. I have been looking at the rookie scouting reports a lot though. There is a lot I want to retool in the offseason with coaching, training staff especially and fill some needs on the roster. I have thought about maybe dealing Schobel for an extra pick in the draft since Maybin seems to be developing nicely. We'll see there is a lot I want to do. Quarterback would also be pretty high up on the priority list.

Man tough loss to the Patriots and injury to Cantwell. You should be able to still make a push for a Wildcard spot though right? Keep this up man I'm followin

There are several AFC teams that are ahead of us in the wildcard chase. We also have two very tough games here against the 10-4 Falcons and the Colts. Prediction:
This is a must win for Buffalo if they want to have any shot at the postseason. The matchup to watch all day will be to see how this stout Bills run defense handles the league leading rusher in Michael Turner. If the Falcons can grab a quick lead look for "Turner the Burner" to run away with this one. The Falcons secondary is weak but I have my doubts whether Hunter Cantwell can exploit it with the tremendous Falcons pass rush led by DE John Abraham in his face all day. Falcons win this one 28-23.

Bills Left With Nothing but Questions After Falling to Falcons 51-35

AP Atlanta – The Atlanta Falcons easily knocked off the lowly Buffalo Bills 51-35 as they try to build momentum heading into the playoffs. The story of the game was the 4th quarter collapse of the Bills who allowed 28 points in the last seven minutes of the game. Bills CB Terrence McGee had an absolutely terrible day returning kicks as he fumbled two returns one of which was returned for a touchdown by Falcons WR Brian Finneran. On the ensuing, Bills possession QB Hunter Cantwell was picked off by Falcons OLB Mike Peterson who returned the pick 58 yards for the score. Cantwell looked shaky all day throwing for three touchdowns but three costly interceptions as well. The Bills will most likely be looking for a quarterback this offseason.

The Falcons offense had an amazing day led by MVP candidate HB Michael Turner who rushed for over 180 yards and a score. The Bills defense was put in terrible situations all day due to the six turnovers committed by the Bills offense and special teams.

No even if I win I won't make it to the playoffs. Both the wildcard spots in the AFC have been claimed by teams who are 9-6 or better. But we're making steps in the right direction and it will be a busy offseason for sure.

Bills End Season on High Note Knocking Off the Colts 34-31 in the Snow

AP Buffalo- Even with the heavy snow, the Buffalo Bills were able to end their season on a high note defeating the Indianapolis Colts 34-31. The biggest surprise of the game was the Colts decision to start QB Jim Sorgi over rookie Curtis Painter. The Bills struck first when CB Terrence McGee picked off Sorgi in the redzone and returned it 95 yards for the score. The Bills led most of the way led by the amazing play of HB Marshawn Lynch who had over 200 all purpose yards and 2 touchdowns on the day. Sorgi would lead a 4th quarter rally putting up 14 points but it was not enough. Sorgi would finish the day throwing for 4 touchdowns. Midway through the third quarter, Colts WR Reggie Wayne had to be carted off the field after sustaining a broken collarbone. With just 1:28 remaining, Sorgi found backup FB Jacob Tamme for a 11 yd touchdown to tie the game at 31. Bills QB Hunter Cantwell drove the Bills down the field managing the clock well to set up the game winning field goal. Bills PK Rian Lindell knocked through a 31 yd FG as time expired to seal the win for the Bills.

As the Bills head towards the offseason, one of the many questions that will have to be answered in the upcoming weeks is whether Head Coach Dick Jauron and his staff will still be in place. There are many rumors around the front office that cleaning out the coaching and training staff might be the first move of the offseason.

Bummer man. If you win against Indy I wanna say 8-8 is amazing for teh Bills. Even in real life. But like you said, this season is definitely building you in the right way.

Yeah I was happy with the progress we made. There is still a lot left to work on. The quarterback position and coaching staff to name a few but hopefully with a strong offseason we can make a playoff run next year.
