i love Cody and Mebane up front, they stop the run so well and both command double teams.

Seattle travels to Nawlins to take on the Saints in a matchup of 1-1 teams. The Seahawks are coming off of a tough loss to Arizona where they saw an offensive power outage.
New Orleans Players to Watch
The New Orleans Saints live and die by the man behind center in Drew Brees, so Brees will have to utilize his offensive weapons in Reggie Bush, Marques Colston, Robert Meachem, and Jeremy Shockey. There is no doubt that the offensive firepower is there, but there is defensive holes. Look for Sedrick Ellis to make a huge contribution stuffing the run up the middle.
Seattle Seahawks Players to Watch
Nate Burleson is back in action this week against the Saints. Matt Hasselbeck really started to develop chemistry with Burleson near the end of the season and has had trouble rekindling the flames early this season. Seattle needs to find an identity on offense early. Also watch for Marcus Trufant and Josh Wilson. Both will have to be on their A games on the outside if they want to stop the high flying Saints offense.

Seattle Seahawks 14

No Defense, 'Hawks Lose in OT
51 48
Seattle Wow. Neither team even fielded a defense today, it was that bad. Seattle who prided themselves on defense heading into this season were exposed yet again for having a weak secondary, and allowed Drew Brees to throw all over them. The scoring started with a Brandon Lafell 99 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Billy Cundiff knocked him a 48 yard field goal and New Orleans was up 10-0 quickly. Deon Butler hauled in a 34 yard TD pass from Matt Hasselbeck, but that would be the only Seahawk score of the first quarter. Pierre Thomas and Robert Meachem both scored TD's, and New Orleans was up 24-7 after just one quarter in a game very similar to the Patriots and Ravens.
John Carlson was on the receiving end of a 2 yard pass at the goalline from Matt Hasselbeck to make it 24-14. Brandon Lafell scored his second touchdown of the game this time through the air right before half, and the Saints went up 31-14 heading into halftime. Darius Reynaud opened up the second half reeling in a 51 yard bomb over the top from Matt Hasselbeck. Hasselbeck went down with an injury the very next series, which left the game in the hands of Mike Teel. Devery Henderson took back a kickoff return for a touchdown which was quickly followed by a Deon Butler 16 yard touchdown pass.
The Seahawks made it a game in the 4th quarter, scoring 17 points to force overtime. Cedric Peerman and Samkon Gado both scored TD's and Olino Mare hit a 30 yard FG with 2:53 left. The defense was not able to hold the Saints, who were able to tie it up with 9 seconds left. The Seahawks lost the coin toss and eventually lost the game, as the high flying Saints offense was too much to handle.

Injury Report
Two more Seahawks have hit the medical report after their week three game against New Orleans. HB C.J Spiller was hit square on the knee and was down for 5 minutes, and many feared it could be season ending. Fortunately, it was only a dislocated knee cap and we should see C.J back in a month at the most. Lawrence Jackson will be out for at least a game after injuring his groin. Daryl Tapp will fill in for Jackson. The Seahawks have brought back good friend Ian Johnson for his second stint in Seattle, spelling Cedric Peerman.
The Seahawks have a bye week this week, so Johnson will be able to get his reps. So far, the 'Hawks love what they see from Sam Bradford, Damien Berry, Darren Evans, Stephen SChilling, and Cameron Heyward. It remains to be seen if the Seahawks will be in position to add any of these pieces.Comment

The Seattle Seahawks travel to San Francisco to take on the lowly 49ers who are 0-4 on the season. The Seahawks are 1-2, and looking to stay at .500.
San Francisco Players to Watch
Shaun Hill will yet again fill in for the oft injured Alex Smith and needs to manage the offense and attempt to lead the Niners to their first victory of the season. Frank Gore will see an increased amount of action in this game both as a running back and a safety valve receiving option. Michael Crabtree and Josh Morgan will be Hill's deep threats.
Seattle Seahawks Players to Watch
Matt Hasselbeck is not 100%, but played increasingly better before getting nicked up in the offensive shootout against the Saints. We need Hass to step his game up and limit the turnovers if they want to stay competitive. Cedric Peerman will have to shoulder the load at the running back position with C.J Spiller on the injury report. Peerman had trouble running against the 49ers the first time around.

Atlanta plays host to the Seahawks who are coming off a come from behind victory against the Niners. The Seahawks are 2-2 while the Atlanta Falcons are 3-1.
Atlanta Players to Watch
The Atlanta Falcons come in with some serious offensive line problems seeing that both Jonathan Scott and Harvey Dahl will miss the game today. Matt Ryan is in his third season and continues to improve and blossom as one of the elite quarterbacks in the game. Frank Gore is coming off 220 yards on the ground so Michael Turner must be licking his chops to face this defense. The Falcons cornerbacks are shaky, which could pose a problem if the Seahawks offense can get going.
Seattle Seahawks Players to Watch
Watch for T.J Houshmanzadeh and Nate Burleson to catch fire against a poor defensive secondary in Atlanta. If the Seahawks can win this game it would be a major step in the right direction for this franchise, who have an outside shot at sneaking in the playoffs this season at the possible 6 seed. Lawrence Jackson will be back in uniform and starting today, but C.J Spiller and Chris Spencer will both be on the sideline.

'Hawks Bring Back Another Old Friend
The Seattle Seahawks have come to terms today with free agent CB Ken Lucas. Lucas was not brought back after his contract ran out this pass off-season. The team only carries 4 CB's before this and could use some help in the passing game. With the trade deadline approaching, could we possible see a move in the secondary?Comment
