Wizards Look to Win Tenth Straight in Los Angeles

Wizards Look to Win Tenth Straight in Los Angeles

In the early months of November and December, it was a stretch to even say that the Washington Wizards would be able to win ten games total this year. Now the Wizards are sitting at 21-20, looking to win their tenth straight game after a magnificent nine game run.

"We've really come together as a team," said head coach Ed Tapscott. "We've had a bit of an easy schedule lately, but it's important to take care of business with those below .500 teams, and that's what we've been able to do."

It's not just losing teams the Wizards have been beating though. Wins over teams like the Cleveland Cavaliers, New Orleans Hornets, and Boston Celtics have experts wondering if the Wizards are the real deal.

The Wizards will once again need to surprise people heading in to the Staples Center to face off against the Los Angeles Lakers. Although the Lakers have had a very disappointing season so far, at 20-21, it would still be considered an upset if Washington was to win the game.
