Caron Butler Speaks About Slow Start

Caron Butler Speaks About Slow Start

Caron Butler answered questions during an interview.

After the Washington Wizards fell for the third straight time, Caron Butler sat down with reporters to talk about the team's slow start.

When asked if the adjustment that was made for Lamar Odom was the cause, Butler quickly disagreed.

"Lamar has been nothing but great so far," said Butler. "He's been shooting consistently and he's been rebounding well. He's been everything we've asked him to be so far."

"There's no one person that can take the blame," continued Caron. "We as a team have not showed up yet this year. We've played three Eastern Conference teams, these are the teams that we'll be seeing in the playoffs if we can get there. We've failed three times. We need to step our game up."

The Wizards will look to win their first game back home against the New York Knicks in their next game.

haha i know, hows that trade looking to you now man?

odom is very easy to play with, and with arenas out he's one of my main offensive players, so he's getting the ball a lot more then he probably should. he shot 13-14 against the bucks though, so i need to keep feeding it to lamar.

sliders are basically default, a couple tweaks here and there.

and that was really the first game that the score got out of hand.
