Daequan Cook's Ankle Woes
Daequan Cook's Ankle Woes
Doctors examined Daequan Cook's hurt ankle after the game against the Charlotte Bobcats, and it was determined that Cook had suffered a severe ankle sprain.
Cook, who plays back up shooting guard for the Wizards, is expecting to miss anywhere between two and four weeks. With the playoffs starting in about three weeks, Washington may have to go a few games without the young sharp shooter.
The next game for the Wizards will be against the 40-30 Detroit Pistons, who are 2.5 games ahead of Washington. A win will bring the Wizards closer to sealing up the number four seed in the East ahead of the Orlando Magic.Last edited by Flight24; 04-13-2009, 09:29 AM.Comment
