PSU Loses Evan Royster For Iowa Game

Going into their Week 5 matchup Penn State was looking forward to using Evan Royster in their attack against the Iowa defense. Unfortunately, that won't be possible, Royster suffered a strained back in the last game against Temple. The injury will only sideline Royster for a week but it's still a tough loss for the Lions going into such an important conference game.

"Losing Evan [Royster] is tough for us, he's been a key component to our offense so far this year but, I have confidence in Stephfon Green that he can come in and produce almost as good as Evan can" Said PSU coach, Joe Paterno.

Penn State is expected to use the passing game more than usual next week to try and counteract the loss of Royster.

Mark Ingram is out 8 weeks with a torn bicep and their backup RB is out 1 week with a foot stress fracture, needless to say but i think they're gonna have some trouble this week.

i have a week 7 bye week so all i'm gonna have this week is an around the NCAA update
