No problem. Happy to help. In the end though it's your chise. Do what you want.

Ankiel would be a nice pick up. Good CF'er. Decent LH bat and doesn't cost a lot. The Cards wanted a starting pitcher as part of the deal.

Ludwick would be doable but the Cards would want more for him. Perhaps a starter and a B Prospect IMO. They could slide Ankiel back over to RF and put Rasmus in CF if they got rid of Ludwick but would have no way of replacing his offense which would be the biggest issue in them trading him.

Ankiel is just a guy the Cards would be more willing and able to move for a variety of reasons.

What about Nate McLouth? Any chances of the Bucs trading him? They've got McCutchen coming up behind him, keep in mind. And if so, what would they most want in return?
McCutchen, as mentioned is a year away or so. Maybe two. As for what the Pirates would want. Most likely a major league ready prospect and perhaps another "A Prospect or two B's.

Javier Vazquez blows for me so if I were to trade for Ludwick, I would definitely think about including him. I really just need one big bat but those can be hard to find (realistically).

Vazquez seems like the type of pitcher Duncan and LaRussa would pull off the scrap heap and make serviceable ie Wellemeyer, Lohse, Piniero, etc. So that would work. You'd have to throw in a prospect along with it though. A "B" guy for sure. Maybe an A guy, just depends how much you want Ludwick because the Cards won't give up Ludwick easy.

Where would you play Ludwick? Don't you have Jeff Francouer in RF?

Yeah, he would play left if I got him. But, I do like Matt Diaz, even though he doesn't hit for much power. I may leave that alone for now.

The only other real position I'm looking at adding a big bat is 1B. Thoughts?

So check it out. I need some point of views. The Orioles need one more decent starting pitcher. Because realistically we only have 2 (if you count Koji). I was thinking of signing Ben Sheets or Chuck James could be a choice as well. What do you guys think?

              Chuck James blows. lol.

And the most realistic way to sign Sheets would be to wait until June in your chise because he's not able to come back until then anyway.

Dependent upon how they are doing in your chise you could try and pull a big move and pry Derek Lee or Micah Hoffpauir away from the Cubs. I guess kind of depends how each are doing in the chise and if the Cubs might be wanting to move them in the game.

If you are signing Sheets, for realism purposes, wait until around the All Star break. He won't be back until then.

Sounds good. I'll wait till around June and sign sheets.

I'd wait until after the All-Star break give him a rehab start or two in the minors then call him up for the stretch run to be realistic. I haven't seen anything that has him expected to be ready to pitch until mid-July at the earliest and saw on CBS about a month ago an early August return might be a chance too.

What would it take/would it be realistic for the Braves to get Aubrey Huff from Baltimore?

How realistic would it be for the Rangers to bring up thier top prospects if they are struggling after the first month or so?

Also would there be any free agents or pitchers that i could trade for that would not be great but just enough for #3 or #4 in the rotation.

Ok.. So Uehara went down and is on 15-DL. So Should I reach into the Free Agency and pull out a starter or pull up a Triple-A pitcher.
