The 2010 season has kicked off and the Jags had a great suprise in hand for the Broncos. Before we get to the play lets discuss what happened throughout the game. Champ Bailey was a force on his side of the field. Bailey picked off 2 passes in a row and then the next series hit tight end Mercedes Lewis so hard he fumbled. The Broncos running game was non-existent today as the Jags did a great job stuffing the run.

Now on to the play of the day. With only 26 seconds left in the game and no time outs remaining David Garrard lead his team onto the field. "Coach Del Rio said to just throw it up there and have faith in my guys." Garrard said. Well he did just that. It came down to 4th and 11 and Garrard took the snap, threw a quick pump fake to the left side of the field and that was just enough to get seperation between Sims-Walker and Champ Bailey. Garrard hit SW in stride as he burnt Bailey for the remaining 40 yards to take the 1 point lead. DE Derrick Harvey came up huge the next series as the Broncos made their way down field , but as they were driving Harvey came up with 2 huge sacks to clinch the win for the Jaguars.

Man was this a great game. Maurice Jones-Drew did his job taking in 2 long touchdowns of 60 and 78 yards. MJD was running hard all game and had 3 broken tackles to go along with his 40 yards after first hit. David Garrard looked confident today only throwing one INT, on that play he threw a deep fade to MSW and Jammer had position.

Philip Rivers looked off his game as the Jags couldn't put much pressure on him. Rivers failed to deliver nice balls to his receivers as 6 of his passes were deflected. Darren Sproles had a great start before being injured in the 2nd quarter and never really returning to himself during the game.

good start to the season, I began a jags chise and it rained everygame for the first four games lol.
"From the time he hits the court, he plays at a competitive level that you rarely see," Popovich says. "He does the exact same things that Kobe (Bryant) does, that Michael Jordan did.

The Jaguars came out with a bang today. Maurice Jones-Drew made fantasy players very happy accumulating 100+ yards on the ground and 5 touchdowns to go along with his 8 receptions and 100+ yds and 1 more touchdown. Derrick Harvey was a beast on the field today racking up 10 tackles and 4 sacks. "I felt great, i had alot of energy and my legs felt great." Harvey said.

Kevin Kolb had a horrible day as the Jags picked 4 of his passes off. "We knew we had to stop DJax and we did a fairly good job, he only had 2 long balls and the one that went for a TD we just had the wrong personnel on the field." Coach Del Rio commented.

                                harvey went off, about time.
"From the time he hits the court, he plays at a competitive level that you rarely see," Popovich says. "He does the exact same things that Kobe (Bryant) does, that Michael Jordan did.
