Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers
    1-4-0----------4-1-0

    "Gamble has Record-Breaking Performance."
The Panthers rebounded nicely from their loss to the Saints with a defensive struggle against Chicago. The Panthers forced 5 turnovers, 2 for TD's. Four of them coming straight from 7th year corner back Chris Gamble. Picking off four passes from Jay Cutler set a new NFL record for interceptions in a game. Overall the Panthers played well and will be looking to keep their winning ways next week.

San Fransisco 49ers at Carolina Panthers
            4-3-0----------5-1-0

            "Cardiac Cats Earn Their Name"
With another great win, the Panthers move to 5-1. Coming off the bye week they started a little slow, going down 13-0 in the first half. Clausen made some mistakes but then in the second half he turned it up. Along with DeAngelo Williams who is having a career year in the backfield. The defense played well with two consecutive sacks from Everette Brown, both forcing fumbles and the second one causing the game winning safety. Look for the Panthers to continue their streak against the Rams next week.

"Pugh Retains FS Job: His To Lose."
John Fox told the team 2 days after their win that Jordan Pugh will retain the FS starting job even though Sherrod Martin will be returning from Injury. This is because Pugh "has been playing at a high level and will have to lose the position." Pugh, a rookie out of Texas A&M Has 8 Tackles in the last 2 games, compared to the 6 Martin had in his first 3 before Injury.

              FS:
              Starter:

              Jordan Pugh #29

              Backup:

              Sherrod Martin #23

Carolina Panthers at St Louis Rams
                    6-1-0----------4-4-0

                    "Streak Continues"
The Panthers winning ways continues as they scorch the Rams. Clausen and Williams played well both recording 3 touchdowns. Defensive captain Jon Beason played like an absolute beast shutting down one of the best RB's in the game, Steven Jackson. The Panthers have a legitimate shot at the super bowl if they keep playing at this high of a level.

DeAngelo Williams proved once again he wants to be the leagues MVP. He played outstanding all day, eluding defenders up and down the field. He gained his 5000th career yard during this game and just keeps racking up the numbers. He is on pace to break the touchdown, and season yards game. Clausen also played well finding free agent pickup Byrd for a 12 yard strike in the endzone. Gamble pickd off two balls putting him as the league leader in picks.
