Just as far as ratings, QB is quite literally the least of your worries. Good luck. Can't wait to see how it all pans out.

Yes you are right. Having three players over 70 is something I do not have at any other position. Sorry for the delay between games, I will post the Kansas State game tomorrow night.

Can't wait. You have some of the best writing on the site... Maybe a little flash would help sell your substance, but I don't know.

I agree, I don't have the flash. I am messing around with some templates and graphics, we'll see. And thank you, I am glad some people enjoy the writing. It is good to know people are reading what I am writing on here.

If you're taking any suggestions for anything, I'd suggest using this table generator.

There are other ones for the Heisman watch and Top 25, too.

Thanks man. I am happy with my game recaps, but I will probably start using the tables for the Top 25 and Heisman.

Story about injuries will be posted later, maybe tonight.

Good move. You're game recaps are nice and clean.

                      Injury Bug Bites Early, Hard
After Kent State's stunningly close home loss to Kansas State, they would end up losing more than the game. A close 23-10 game, Kent State would lead in most statistical categories, but could not find any points against the Wildcats.

In the final drive of the game, Chris Finley would get sacked and would not get up quickly. Struggling to get to the sideline, Finley was holding his shoulder and looked to be in pain. Through two games, Finley had taken the reigns as the team's starting Quarterback. After an intense training camp battle, the former South Florida Community College player had impressed in two starts.

With Finley out, Spencer Keith came in, but a bad Center-Quarterback exchange would end Kent State's chances of an upset over Kansas State. Team doctors were quick to evaluate Finley after the game and decided it was a bruised throwing shoulder.

An injury that is likely to keep Finley out for 4-5 games, it seems Spencer Keith will get the first chance to relieve him. It could also mean more playing time for Giorgia Morgan and a chance for Keith to show he can be the top signal-caller.

Also injured in the game is the team's returning leader in tackles from '10, Will Johnson. An impact linebacker, the team will lose his services for a few games. More a "precautionary measure," Johnson left early with back pains.

Next week Kent State will play their first game away from home in 2011. Billy Gonzales is nervous about the team's first road stint; that will include Purdue, Ohio and Central Michigan. A tough stretch that will probably not have the services of Finley or Johnson.

LOL. A bruise keeping the starting quarterback out a few games?

Yeah definitely a pussy injury. I hate the injuries in the game sometimes because the recovery time doesn't make any sense. I've had players with a listed "broken collarbone" miss one game. Then Finley is out half the season with a bruised shoulder?
