        Gilbert for Heisman? Rofl.

Tough loss, dude, at least your defense played well.

At least you have the one good receiver. Good luck next game.

It was a tough loss, my offense had been clicking, and it was just a game where the clock felt like it had been accelerated. That, and I turned the ball over and struggled completing passes.

And I think Garrett is being helped by his team playing one more game than everyone else. His numbers are pretty good, but it's weird.

Goode is a great receiver and I wish I had him for another season. He has an outside chance for the single season reception record too.

                    Your offense is awesome.

                    Your defense isn't.

                    Halfway there, Maize.

The D is okay, it's not awesome. You're a college team with runningbacks averaging under four yards/carry. Your quarterbacks have combined for 14 touchdowns and eight interceptions. We'll see what happens next game though. I'm glad you won. =) Good luck.

                        Your defense isn't.

                        Halfway there, Maize.
That's how I feel. I have messed with the sliders enough that I do one of two things offensively: Score at will or cannot will myself to score. As for the defense, I am just getting torched, the worst part is the rush defense.

That is a big problem right now, and will probably cause me to tweak sliders both ways. I cannot run and I cannot stop the run. Passing game is putting up yards, but I am not scoring what I should.

Bowling Green is a rivalry game and a chance to beat a team with a winning record. I will post it later tonight, first a recruiting article soon.

                          Recruiting News and Updates

                          Kent State
                          M&M D-Ends Add Before BGSU
Going into their annual rivalry game with Bowling Green, Kent received some good news on the recruiting front, following a win. A 42-3 victory against Eastern Michigan swayed the decision of two defensive ends.

Taking the total amount of recruits committed to Kent State from 3-to-5, all five are from the state of Ohio. Sticking to their local recruiting strategy, they have also added three defensive ends that will be part of their 2013 Recruiting Class.

Already committed, one-star Craig Martin gets some added competition at his position of defensive end. First, two-star defensive end Scott Mayfield projects to be a defensive end, while the other player, Shawn Mays could easily play outside linebacker.

Both are positions of need that could use depth, all players are coming in to positions that will be losing starters and looking for players to step up. Mayfield is a pass-rush specialist, who has become an every down player in his senior year. Mays, has played every position on the defense besides corner, and is versatile playmaker.

While the current class only has one offensive lineman, it shows the team will still need to help positions that will be losing starters (receiver, offensive line, linebacker, special teams).

                                Recruiting News and Updates

                                Kent State
                                Simmons Makes Six
Following the tough road loss to rival Bowling Green, it means another losing season for the Golden Flash. Head Coach Billy Gonzales is moving on with no worry about his job security. Although some fans and media members are becoming restless. Specifically with the play of the defense, which did get another added boost through recruiting.

Jason Simmons, an outside linebacker and and three year varsity player from Brook Park, Ohio. Simmons is the sixth player to commit to Kent State for the 2013 Recruiting Class. He is one of five defensive players committed, and so far the entire class is from the state of Ohio.

Simmons picked Kent over Akron and Central Michigan, with the hopes of playing early. The team will be losing Luke Batton to graduation, so there could be a spot for Simmons to start next year. He will need to improve on some things, notably his tackling technique.

As the team heads for their seventh road game against Buffalo; the coaching
received news from two more players that they will take visits for the their fifth and final home game. The season finale against Akron will host six recruits taking visits, as the teams play for the 54th time and the 42 for the Wagon Wheel Trophy.

Safety DeMarcus Jenkins and junior college transfer Anthony Smith will visit, along with four other players. Both are one star defensive backs. Jenkins is a hard-hitter that could play linebacker, while Smith just wants a chance to play at the FBS level.
