    2013 Media Day



    MAC Pre-Season Poll
    During the Mid American Conference's Media Day in Detroit, members of the media cast their ballots for the upcoming season. 20 select media members had to decide the standings for the MAC East and West Division. The results of the votes left the Ohio Bobcats and Central Michigan Chippewas as the favorites in their respective divisions.

    MAC East Division
    1. Ohio (2nd Overall)
    2. Miami University (6th Overall)
    3. Temple (7th Overall)
    4. Buffalo (8th Overall)
    5. Akron (9th Overall)
    6. Kent State (10th Overall)
    7. Bowling Green (13th Overall)

    MAC West Division
    1. Central Michigan (1st Overall)
    2. Toledo (3rd Overall)
    3. Northern Illinois (4th Overall)
    4. Western Michigan (5th Overall)
    5. Eastern Michigan (11th Overall)
    6. Ball State (12th Overall)



    Each voting member then had to pick their 2013 MAC Championship Game Winner. Central Michigan is considered the favorite to win the 2013 MAC Championship, receiving 11 of 20 votes. MAC East favorite Ohio received six votes, while the remaining three votes went to the Rockets of Toledo.
