ROSTER UPDATE:

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) -- It has now been nine games since Charles Linglet has been called up from the Oklahoma City Barons. During that nine game span Linglet failed to impress the Oilers coaching staff and will be sent back down to the Barons. Alexandre Giroux will resume his position on the fourth line, where he has scored 5 goals in twenty games. Also, Jamie McBain will be given a minimum ten (10) games on the Oilers third line defense to showcase if he is ready for the NHL. McBain will rotate every other game with Jason Strudwick after he returns from injury. McBain played 17 minutes in his Oilers debut and ended with a 0 +/- and 5 minutes of penalties.

FRANCHISE UPDATE:

I haven't really been playing NHL at all for the last few weeks. So with that being said I think I'm going to but this franchise aside for a while and start up a new one with the Wings. I haven't done one with the Wings before and was waiting for the season to start as well as a roster update (which I don't think there is one yet). So if there isn't a roster update when I go on later look for this to be updated a couple times.
