Game 8: New York (5-2) at Milwaukee (4-3)

Knicks win as Douglas records career-high 15 assists

The Milwauke Bucks climbed out an early hole to bring the New York Knicks lead to as small as two points by attacking the Knicks' weak interior, but ultimately Carmelo Anthony closed the game out for the 107-103 win on the road. Anthony finished with Player of the Game honors with 28 points, eight boards and seven assists. Andrew Bogut scored 10 of his 12 points in the second half and tallied four blocks, while Corey Maggette was attacking the paint at will as he scored a team-high 23 points. Toney Douglas filled in admirably for Raymond Felton in his first start with 11 points and a career best 15 assists.

Player of the Game: Carmelo Anthony - 28 PTS, 8 REB, 7 AST, 3 STL

Game 9: New York (6-2) vs. Golden State (4-3)

Lee leads Warriors in victory over Knicks

David Lee played as if he had a point to prove in first game back to Madison Square Garden in a new uniform as he dropped 27 points and eight rebounds to put the Golden State Warriors over the New York Knicks 107-99. The Warriors won the battle of the boards and limited the Knicks' second chance opportunities. Toney Douglas struggled to keep the ball, having nine of the Knicks' 19 turnovers. Carmelo Anthony tried keep New York in it with his 37-point, eight-rebound performance, but it wasn't enough.

Player of the Game: Monta Ellis - 16 PTS, 4 REB, 5 AST, 6 STL

Game 10: New York (6-3) at Minnesota (4-5)

Stoudemire's 28 lead Knicks to easy win

Defense was hard to find from both teams in this offensive affair, but it played right in the New York Knicks' wheelhouse for an uptempo game as they throttled the Minnesota Timberwolves 127-107. A hobbled Kevin Love had no problem getting past and scoring on Knicks' center Amare Stoudemire, finishing with 20 points and 14 rebounds, but Stoudemire would respond back on the other end with 28 points and nine boards of his own. Danilo Gallinari caught fire from the field and hit 10-of-13 attempts to score 24 points.

Player of the Game: Carmelo Anthony - 28 PTS, 8 REB, 9 AST, STL

Game 11: New York (7-3) vs. Houston (4-4)

Knicks make easy work of Rockets, 131-113

Even though Yao Ming's imposing stature gave the Knicks' undersized frontcourt quite a few fits in the half court, he couldn't keep up with Amare Stoudemire and Co. in the open court and with help from the bench led by Bill Walker, who scored 21 of the Knicks' 37 bench points, the Rockets pulled away and blew out the Houston Rockets 131-113. Ming lead both teams with game-leading 28 points and 15 rebounds while Stoudemire finished with 24 points and eight rebounds.

Player of the Game: Amare Stoudemire - 24 PTS, 8 REB, 2 AST, STL, BLK

Melo drops 43 in win after Knicks rally to force OT

The Denver Nuggets gave Carmelo Anthony a rough welcome back to the Pepsi Center. Constant double and triple teams as soon as he touched the ball, a lack of fouls called and was constantly the target of driving Nuggets. Denver played incredibly inspired in the first half - having a lead as large as 25 points - and went into halftime 65-45. But despite the odds, Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks to a strong second half rally that would almost give them the victory, but Chauncey Billup's ability to get to the foul line help the Nuggets push it into overtime. Anthony would ultimately close out the Nuggets from the charity stripe in the 140-132 comeback victory.

Player of the Game: Carmelo Anthony - 43 PTS, 5 REB, 11 AST, 3 STL
