Heat Clinch Playoff Birth after picking up 50th win
It took 72 games, but the Heat finally did it. They clinched a playoff spot. The Heat were the quickest team to clinch a playoff spot this season. Despite having to battle injuries all season, they have still endured and are the best team in the NBA.
"It felt good man. But this sure doesn't mean we're resting or not going 100%. We have to continue to get better."
That's what Dwyane Wade had to say about the win right as the game ended. The Heat celebrated, but not for long. The game was over around midnight Miami time, and they had the Orlando Magic coming into town for a game less then 24 hours away. Michael Beasley still said the team did somethings together.
"Ya know, we all pitched in and bought a suite for like a few hours, and chilled there. Got some room service, picked on DerMarr a bit. Good time, good time. But at the same time we were getting ready for the Magic. They're the same team that nearly knocked us out first round last year, and they got better. But of course, we're the better team, hahaha."sig is too big, resize itComment
