Before Wade Leaves for All Star Game, He Inks New Contract
Wade hopes to continue to put up big numbers after the new contract
Right before Dwyane Wade left to start in the all star game, he became a richer man. He agreed to a new 5 year deal, including a player option for a 6th. The deal starts with 17.5 salary, and the 6th year player option ends with a 28.2 salary. Big contract for a big player. He is averaging 19 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1 s teal this season on 52% from the field. This is the second huge contract the Heat have gotten this year. Wade was nearly demanding a long term extension, in a good way. Lets see if this money results into some awards, wins, and most importantly, a championship.
