Draft Day Deal Accepted
Diawara will find himself in a new suit next season
Today, hours before the NBA Draft begun, the Heat and Hawks agreed to a trade. The Trade consists for 2 players and 4 draft picks. The Hawks Recived the rights to the 22nd overall pick in both rounds of the draft, along with Yakhouba Diawara and James Jones. The Heat recieve the rights to the 16th overall pick and the Hawks '10 second round pick. The trade makes sense for both the Heat and the Hawks as the Hawks pick up 2 backups to Josh Smith. They also upgrade this years draft with another pick. The Heat move some cap space for Carlos Boozer and move up in the draft. Here is the Official Trade:
The Heat Recieve
Rights of: 16th overall pick
2010 second round pick (Hawks)
The Hawks Recieve
Rights of: The 22nd and 52nd picks in this years draft
James Jones
