Heat Trade Boone For Cap Space



Josh Boone lands himself in Charlotte

Today the Miami Heat made some more cap room to make room for Carlos Boozer. The Heat traded Josh Boone to the Bobcats for this years second round draft pick. This trade leaves the Heat with 16M in cap space, just enough to neogiate a contract with Boozer. Boone will likely be a role player or the starting center on the Bobcats.

Heat Ink Olowokandi, White to fill roster


White Last played in the NBA on the Spurs 2007 Championship team

On Day 15 of free agency, the Heat finished off there roster by adding Michael Olowokandi and James White. The Heat needed both a backup SF and C, and they got both of those in these signings. The Heat hope Michael can rebound well off the bench and White can bollosm into a great player. The Heat finish there offseason roster making the following moves:
