Wade "I won't be 100% for 2-4 weeks"; Heat Sign Shawne Williams
During the 3rd quarter of the Thunder-Heat game, Dwyane Wade went to block a shot and his wrist shot back and he was in some serious pain. After an MRI the next morning and a trip to the hospital, he was diagnosed with a Sprained Wrist. He has the ability to play through the injury, but it doesn't look like the Heat are taking any chances. He is going to be on reserves till around the last week of his injury and he'll slowly work his way back into the lineup.
With Dwyane Wade being out, the Heat need a new starting 5. They have a new look now, and this is what it looks like.- Shaun Livingston
- DerMarr Johnson
- Michael Beasley
- Carlos Boozer
- Udonis Haslem
Many people question the decision to start Haslem over Sean Williams and even JaVale McGee, but everyone in the Heat organization agrees with the decision.
In effect with the Dwyane Wade injury, the Heat made another move in signing Shawne Williams. He was signed to a league minimum contract. Shawne has spent his whole career in Indiana, averaging 5.2 points a game in 12 minutes a game. He will probably be used as a 12th man with Dwyane Wade out, but will be on the reserves when he gets back.sig is too big, resize itComment

DERMARR GOES DOWN!
Originally posted by Len BLupe is good peeps. He gets a bad rap from people who take message boards too seriously and forget what it's like to be young and online. I consider Lupe a top 100 prospect in the minors and someday becomes a solid poster.
