Curry Strains Achilles, Haslem on the block
Stephen Curry went up for a usual layup, then here comes Rasheed Wallace. Comes over and throws Stephen to the ground, resulting in his injury. He will not be able to play for nearly 4 weeks. This leaves a huge whole in the Heat's bench, as he was the Heat's leading scorer off the bench, and the backup point guard. Now the Heat have 3 guards to hold down the point guard and shooting guard spots. This injury results in the Heat having to try to make a move..
Marcus Banks could soon find himself back in a Heat uniform. He was traded alongside Alonzo Mourning back in 2008-2009. This time, he could be traded for Udonis Haslem, the old heart and soul of the Heat. He's been replaced, he doesn't get the minutes he wants, he gets the minutes he deserves. Udonis had this to say about being put on the trading block. " I told them front office, I want out. I want to go to a team that will play me right, and that can contend." With that being said, possible teams in the market for him would be the Rockets or Clippers. Marcus Banks or Mike Conley, both expirings. Heat are looking at Banks more because he would expect less minutes then Conley. We'll have to see how this plays out.sig is too big, resize itComment

Heat bid farewell to the second to last member from the 2006 championship team, get Banks back
It's a sad day in Miami for many of the Heat faithful and ticket holders. The Heart, the soul, the sound of the Miami Heat, is gone. Udonis Haslem has been traded to the LA Clippers in exchange for Marcus Banks. Udonis is going to a better situation for himself, but the team also isn't bad. The Clippers are sitting second in the western conference, as the Heat are third in the east. He'll be starting too, which is a plus. The Heat could of traded him to the Rockets to be a backup, but they listened to his request to become a starter. The Heat don't get a bad player back either, Marcus Banks is a great role player off the Heat bench. He is expected to play in the game against the Magic. But this story is more about Udonis Haslem. Farewell U.
