Padres Walking Back To The Dugout After The Walkoff RBI Double By Venable

It Was Over When... - Will Venable came in to pinch-hit on his night off at the bottom of the 10th with a man on 1st, belting a RBI double which allowed the runner to come over for the win.

Turning Point - Brad Hawpe pinch-hitting with Cameron Maybin on 2nd with 1 out at the bottom of the 8th hits an RBI single to tie the ballgame up at 1-1.

Stat Of The Night - In both games that he's started, Mat Latos has done more than his share to be the winning pitcher, but both games the Pads bats haven't been alive.

Hitting Woes Continue For Padres, Lose 2-1


O-Hud scratches his head as he can't figure out what's wrong with San Diego's offense either

It Was Over When... - James Loney hit a deep fly ball that dropped for the RBI double that would end up being the winning run at the top of the 8th.

Turning Point - The back-to-back hits by Bartlett and O-Hud in the 6th that broke up the no-hitter and shutout respectively of Hong-Chih Kuo and tied the game up at 1-1.

Stat Of The Night - San Diego is struggling getting their offense going early in the season as it took them 7 innings before they even got their first hit.

San Diego's Bats Rocked The Dodgers Today Gathering In 15 Hits

It Was Over When... - Chase Hundley hit a line drive into the gap with the speedy Cameron Maybin on 2nd with 1 out at the bottom of the 8th for the RBI single to put the Pad's up 3-2, folled by another RBI single by Will Venable giving them the 4-2 lead late.

Turning Point - Juan Uribe's solo shot on a 3-2 count at the top of the 7th to break the tie, 2-1 Dodgers.

Stat Of The Night - After struggling so far this season, the Padres bats finally went off as they recorded 15 hits.
