Well, this is my interpretation of the My Player screen:

Yeah, that's Vince Carter in the background, but I'm gonna make my player look like Vince, so that should be aight.

      Anyway, feedback's always welcome

Edit: And an example of how my game updates might look like (don't mind all the names and all that, just look at the overall picture):

Week 1: Jags Stun The Colts

            vs

MJD ran for 116 yards while adding one touchdown

INDIANAPOLIS--- When Peyton Manning has the ball in the fourth quarter and the game on the line,
he usually does what it takes to get the win. Today, the Jacksonville Jaguars had other plans in mind as they beat the division rival Colts 20-17 after a 22-yard field goal by Josh Scobee as time expired.

The Jags jumped out to a 10-0 lead after capitalizing on Indianapolis' mistakes. By halftime, Jacksonville was up 17-3 and looked poised to keep dominating. Peyton Manning and the Colts offense, however, would wake up in the third quarter as the Colts scored 14 unanswered points to tie things up headed into the fourth quarter.

The Jaguar offense would continue to stall as holding penalties killed their drives. With four minutes left in the game the Colts would get the ball at the 10 yard line following a Jacksonville punt and everyone in the stands new it was Manning time.

Peyton would march the Colts down the field and with two minutes left the Jaguars would stop the Colts on a 3rd and 2 attempt, which would force kicker Adam Vinateri to attempt a 56 yarder. A 56 yarder he would end up MISSING.

David Garrard would move the ball into the red zone and with four seconds left, Scobee would nail the game winner.

"This is a big win. To beat a team like the Colts on their home turf is huge. We recovered from our mistakes to get the win. I'm proud of this team," said head coach Jack Del Rio after the game.

Just Blaze - very good. love the in-depth analysis of the game.

Onez - pretty good. in love with the header part.

goDawgs - a little off-center for the GT stats, but good besides that

Charlotte, North Carolina – Carolina blew a perfect chance on opening weekend to come away with the victory and it ultimately cost the Panthers who fell short 26-25 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Rookie FB Tony Fiammetta fumbled the ball with just under a minute to go on 3rd and 1 inside the Panthers 40 yard line and that fumble turned into a 7 yard TD pass from Donovan McNabb to Lenard Weaver to put the Eagles up by one point, and that’s how it would stay.

Carolina had a good day on the ground rushing for 138 yards and a score and Jake Delhomme passed for 153 yards and a score to Dwayne Jarrett in the 1st quarter. The Panthers will need more from their offence next week when they face off against the Falcons. Quinton Teal had a good game in his first regular season start, in place of the injured Chris Harris, recording 8 tackles and scooping up a fumble and returning it 15 yards for the score.

Injury Report: MLB Jon Beason went down in the 4th after making a tackle on Jeremy Maclin and after he walked off the field Carolina found out they would be without their defensive leader for the next 3 weeks with a broken thumb.

There were some big injuries around the NFL this week with some key players going down for extended amounts of time including St. Louis DE Leonard Little who is out for the season after a horrific knee injury.

Bailey, I'm not sure if you're seeking feedback, but here's mine.

                    1. The font - bold is never a good start. Change the font as well from Times New Roman to Arial, Arial Black or something else.

                    2. Separate your titles. Like "Panthers" should be a different color than the box score numbers (also title the quarter numbers, those are important even if it's obvious). If you want to keep the font the same, then separate them by place boxes (with low transparency) around to act as a separator.

The equal sign has to go, that is what you are forced to compensate for because there is no separator.

                    3. The player photos are a great touch. The problem is that the box and the font are almost "cartoon-like", so it's hard to see it as stats. I suggest removing the black border of the box, or at least take off some of the weight so it's not SO bold.

As for the font, the black border needs to be reduced as well. There is no need to bold a stat, it's there because you have few numbers and letters for reason - to make them stand out. The reader will see this, there's no need to put extra emphasis. It's similar to the notion of why some dynasty/franchise writers make their headlines Bolded and Underlined...why? I can already see there is something to be said, no need to make it THAT important.

                    4. Lastly, the boxes. Fix the transparency/opacity. Make it between 2% and 10% so you can still see the background of the logos (nice touch btw), so that way the stats content does not get overlooked. Play around with it. What some like to do is change up the color and fill the opacity. In your case, I would because the white is already part of the background where the logos are.

So there, a little constructive feedback. Everything else solid and puts in plenty of info to digest. I think some of the modifications mentioned could help to improve and get more of a 'wow' factor.
