Why would you trade your only center to just add more of a log jam at your SG/SF position?

Try to get someone from the Nets (Preferably Sean Williams) for like Kelena or Marco.

Stock Rosters (before any updates) ...

                Thunder Trade:
                PF 74 D.J White
                '09 2nd round pick

                Magic Trade:
                SG 77 Courtney Lee

                Analysis:
I'm the Thunder so I get a starter in Lee (I don't want to sign and start Shaun Livingston), and I get rid of White whose in a 74 ovr logjam (Wilcox, White, Collinson, Smith) and in a spot where I'm going to start Jeff Green.

The Magic get a starter in D.J White (For some reason, they always have Lewis as Sixth Man since he plays behind Hedo) and replaces the starter in Cook, who sucks a lot. They also get rid of a 76 ovr sg in a sg logjam and gain a second rounder for a person they wouldn't play since he plays behind two others.

Fair, I think so, Realistic, maybe since I'm doing it before the start of the year and didn't know lee would have a break out season, same with white. Plus White was picked 6-7 picks after Lee so its like the Magic traded down for a top 5 second rounder.

Anyone want to critically analyze the trade?

The Magic obviously get the short hand in this trade. Obviously, Lee is a starter and is a solid defender, but D.J. White isn't a starter, especially not for the Magic. Orlando then only has Mickael Pietrus at SG (unless Keith Bogans, I believe, is still there). Does the 2nd Round Pick justify it? Depends on how far in the season you are and where the both of you are at. This trade looks like your filling your need, but neglecting theirs.

Lee is a prospect, stuck behind both Pietrus (Starter) and Bogans (Role Player) so i don't know how much time their 3rd string sg would get. Also, once the trade is completed, White becomes the starter for their PF spot, im assuming he doesnt get starter minutes yet he does start for them.

They have 3 different 76 ovr shooting guards

It's the Thunder's 2nd rounder, so it could be 30-35 depending how the season goes. There are only 6 picks from Lee to White, so a top second rounder for a difference of 6 picks seems fair to me.

I would esentially trade for him after the Magic play one game (to make a story line how he wants out or something like that).

Thanks for the 3 responses guys, thanks are in order.

I always try to pick up Raef's contract because there's only 1 year left on it, it's a great way to dump salary.

Don't think Baron/The clippers would do this. They just drafted Blake Griffin, and Baron has been active in the community.

Bobcats Get: John Salmons - Jerome James

Bulls Get: Nazr Mohammed - N.Batum - Speedy Claxton - Antoine Walker

They offered me Jerome James on my trading block for Mohammed. Is this a fair trade? Mohammeds contract is just as long as Salmons I think and Jerome james is expiring. Speedy's deal is expiring and they get a young SF in Batum. I'll prolly do this deal at the trade deadline in my chise. Walker is expiring too

Think about how beast this lineup would be

                              PG Tony Parker/Roger Mason
                              SG Roger Mason/Manu Ginobili/Jack McClinton
                              SF Richard Jefferson/Jack McClinton
                              PF Tim Duncan/Drew Gooden
                              C Nene/Matt Bonner

that would be the best two deep in the NBA
Jack McClinton is 6'1" so I highly, highly doubt that SF is possible. Also, what happened to George Hill?

I was about to say, is he thinking of a different Jack McClinton? I can just picture that 6'0"/6'1" dude trying to guard LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony...yikes
