I do like that trade since the Knicks' pick will likely be pretty high.

How do you use Batum, though? I thought he started for you?

Do it man. Opens up a lot of playing time getting rid of 2 starters and getting a role player in return along with a pick. Sounds like a damn good deal to me.

Well in that case, I say go for it. Wilcox is an underrated rebounder and a good option off the bench in a post-up game. Greg Oden plays very much like Pryz so getting Wilcox would allow you to mix it up a little bit. He can back LMA up, too.

Alright im doing a Clippers chise and I have all the prospects. I also traded picks around so that every team has the same picks that they do in real life. My team won the lottery and I decided to trade the pick. Is this a good trade? All teams accepted it. Its a 3 team trade btw:

          Blazers get:
          Baron Davis (clippers)
          Darrel Arthur (grizzlies)

          Clippers get:
          O.J. Mayo (grizzlies)
          Darko Milicic (grizzlies)
          Bayless (blazers)

          Grizzlies get:
          1st Pick (clippers)
          24th Pick (blazers)
          Kaman (clippers)

          thoughts?

1986 Record: 51-31 (3rd in west; swept in finals)

Forgot to say that the Grizzlies also get Outlaw

Still, I don't see the Grizz giving up Mayo and I don't think the Blazers would want Baron, huge contract and all. But, it's overall not a bad trade for Memphis as they get 2 1st rounders to help build, an underrated big man and a swingman with lots of potential

i changed it so the Grizzlies also get Bayless. These are the potential starting 5 before Free Agency.

                  Grizzlies start 5:
                  PG: Bayless/Conley
                  SG: Harden (6th pick)
                  SF: Gay
                  PF: Griffen (1st Pick)
                  C: Gasol/Kaman

                  Blazers Start 5:
                  PG: Baron
                  SG: Roy
                  SF: Webster
                  PF: Aldridge
                  C: Oden
(In a videogame thats a beast lineup. Plus they still have 15 mil in cap space. They were the 2nd seed when I simmed. Roy got injured in game 1 and was out for the rest of the playoffs. Somehow the Blazers made it all the way to the conference finals.)

                  Clippers Start 5:
                  PG: Mayo
                  SG: Gordon
                  SF: Thornton
                  PF: Randolph
                  C: Camby

Ima going to be training and camping Gordon and Mayo. I have like 6 mil in cap sace and have some nice expirings for 2010 in Darko and Camby.

Sammy D wants out of Philly. Honestly, I'm interested. But the only way I'd be wanting to take on his contract is if the Sixers would be willing to give me Louie.

                          scratch that.

Andre Miller has been on the rumor mill in my chise since hte beginning of the season. he signed a 1 year deal with the kings "under the impession that the kings would make the playoffs" considering they also traded for posey and peja a season ago. Kings are 23-29 at the trade deadline, only the 3rd from last team in the west.

Chris Quinn, who has shown he is a capable starter in Indiana, "feels he deserves a starting role"
Miller wants a shot at a ring as he's already 33.

I'd send Chris Quinn, a younger point gaurd and Walter Sharpe (sf/pf prospect) in exchange for miller. Quinn is on a low 1 mill contract and sharpe makes like 600k or something.

Just another veteran presence/leader on a Pacers team looking to make a championship run.

It's a trade deadline deal i'm strongly considering pulling the trigger on. The CPU also accepts it. Quinn would end up starting for them actually. haha.

Sounds like a good deal to me, mike. You get a veteran point who can lead (will he start?), that, as you said, will be looking to win a title that you can give him. Chris Quinn isn't terrible so the Kings get a decent young guy they can develop for the future.

Go for it, should help you down the stretch.

He's not a good 3 point shooter, and you seem to like Quinn for his shot. But otherwise it's a good deal.

True. That's 1 thing that keeps making me reluctant to do it.
