Nope, it's the nature of the game (PES) to have a sense of 'comeback' mode, but I've learned to deal with it because BAL mode is still addicting.
Lack of updates is due to lack of TV Tuner card compatibility with my new computer that has Vista. So, hopefully I'll be able to get an update soon - probably Wednesday.Comment

Have a question for you, how many of the games do you play yourself and how many do you sim? I'm thinking about maybe firing up one of these now that the school year is over and I'll have some free time. I want to get through as much as possible so I can maybe get to an English team, either EPL or Coca Cola Championship team.
I wish there was a more defined ML in BAL mode, but the fact there is no relegation is kind of a drag. Eitherway, still having a blast - Fulham had a good win for once.Comment

Originally posted by WarriorsArsenal or Chelsea would be good. If you go to ManU I will no longer follow. I probably would, but I strongly dislike that club.
I take it PES is a little bit better in telling you when your player is going to play. Do you know if FIFA has any feature like this? I'd rather not play every game if I can help it.
PES is very in depth. The good thing about it is once you go to the starting lineup - it will show if you are playing or not. Not to mention there is a prompt that says "you are playing in this game" or "you have made the subs bench"...etc
FIFA's BAL was not worth my time because I knew it is only 4 years long, that's not nearly enough time to become anything - let alone make a franchise. That's why I LOL at people who make Madden 09 franchise reports in May, knowing that Madden 2010 is coming out soon. It's like it's setup to end.Comment

We sit down with local favorite striker, Lam Matteo, after the American striker has set a good pace for a 20+ goal season, already reaching 13 this year through 14 matches.
Lam, you've scored some wonder goals this year, what have you attributed to your recent success? Like any player on this team, I attribute my success on the pitch to my teammates. We are a different team from last year, some players are starting to get in their own stride.
Is there a certain mark on the goal tally that you would like to reach? No. I feel just playing game by game and adapting to the current conditions will be a goal in its own right. If I get caught up with statistics, I will complicate the important things - like finding my shooting boots.Matteo will have an uphill battle against 2nd place Liverpool this weekend, a team that concedes goals, but scores just as many. We will continue our coverage on the American striker, and the big question in two months time - will Matteo remain a Cottager? Only he will know for sure then.
Sitting in 7th place, do you feel Fulham have a chance to win the Premiership? Yes. We are a resilient club. We have been through the tougher times than most clubs out there. Finishing 14th and 13th last year was something that was not expected. There is not many people who expect us to win the championship this year, so hopefully we can prove them wrong.
How have you felt since all the injuries that occurred the last couple of years? I feel great. I've improved my weight training regiment do a higher level. I'm not gaining any height anymore, so I reckon I should get bigger.
And the change of hairstyle - do you feel superstitious with the shaved head look right now? Superstition is pretty much what I have been my entire career. The shaved head also helps my head the ball better (nothing gets in the way).
Any clubs you feel will send you and your agent an offer at the January transfer window? I feel my performances have prompted some interest. Which teams? I haven't a clue. Hull City have been fairly consistent in trying to get me back - but I can tell you right now, I'm not going back there.
What if the big four (Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool) come calling? Then I will probably have the hardest decision of my entire career. I do want to play UEFA football, so right - it will be an incredible series of emotions I'm sure.
Lastly, with Liverpool this weekend, and Chelsea the next - do you feel like all eyes are on you at the moment? Only my own to be honest. I am my own critic no matter what team we play.
