Lam Matteo has struck gold this year with 20 goals near the midpoint, this time scoring two goals in the victory against Sunderland.

Thankful. If it wasn't for the brilliant play by Kamara, Matteo would not have scored any goals today. It is the unselfish play like that which has guided Matteo to the top of the scoring charts in the Premier League this year (17 in league, 20 for all competitions).

TRANSFER NEWS HOURLY - Lam Matteo
It's that time again, could Lam Matteo's time at Fulham (1250 P) come to close? Where would he go next. We document the 4 weeks of the January transfer window.
- Negotiations - week 1 - Sunderland ofering 1250 P, Matteo is going to sit and wait for more teams to trickle in for now. -- REJECTED
- Negotiations - week 2 - Keeping up with the Premiership theme, Matteo receives offers from Hull City (1440 P), Sunderland (1330 P) and Portsmouth (1380 P), the striker doesn't see any need for a big change here. -- REJECTED.
- Negotiations - week 3 - Sunderland withdraw their offer, as does Hul City. The only team remaining is Portsmouth (1330 P) - Matteo, once more, says no. -- REJECTED
- Negotiations - week 4 - Once again, Portsmouth emerge, this time offering a staggering 1490 P, however Matteo says no for the last time. In addition to Portsmouth, Blackburn offer a pathetic 1380 P. -- REJECTED
Sadly, it was a dissapointing transfer window that came and gone. Matteo has stated he did not feel a move away from the Cottage was necessary. "There were no teams that struck me. I feel like there is still more out there. We (Fulham) are in a good spot right now, if we can keep our form - we could win the premiership."

Agbonlahor was the recepient of two Lam Matteo assists, then Matteo found himself on the scoring sheet.

Phew. It's odd that Matteo still received a low rating considering he had two assists and a goal. It is a relief, however, that he managed to find a goal out of nothing - so good to see he is still true to form since the transfer window elapsed.

Worst come to worst, he stays at the club he loves. Poor guy.Comment

I respect your decision to stay. Are you thinking a bigger move would be to Spain or Italy?
A move to Spain - it's crossed my mind. I honestly can't wait for the offseason, just to see what is presentd. But now that I am not seeing a pattern in regards to offers, I'm a bit cautious in getting my hopes up.Comment
