It was the Lam Matteo show at the Cottage, but a late tackle from Mensah resulted in an early exit for the striker.

    Fulham 3-0 West Bromwich Albion

    Cottagers victorious through Matteo
    -Johnson Peoples, February 2014
    --------------------------------------------------
    '29-'55 Matteo, '86 Obertan
    Caution: Sent Off:

    Caution: Mensah ('65) Sent Off:

    Standings: Fulham (9-3-6, 30pts -- 6th)

Strong showing, but injured for a week. The injury will only be for a week, and it was kind of a good thing it seems because Roy Hodgson didn't plan on resting Matteo anytime soon. Matteo's goals were as solid as the men who played the ball to him. Obertan set Matteo with a cross - which he headed in, then fellow striker, Agbonlahor played a perfect through ball in the air just before the last defender moved up. Matteo made no mistake and easily slotted the ball into the far corner of Danut Coman's goal.

Just wondering Matt, in your opinion what game do you think is better, Fifa 09 or PES 09?

and how did you get accurate teams and players since I know some clubs are not licensed and have fake players

Just checked this out, another great Matt10 project I see.
Matteo was great last game, keep it up. I don't follow soccer much, but I'll definitely start getting into this.

PES 09. But it also depends on what type of gamer you are. If you are a sim type of gamer, then get PES - FIFA's Manager Mode is jacked up. However, I will say that if you can overlook some of those issues - the mode is actually quite fun, and some guys on OS even find it addicting.

However, you'll never get the gameplay you experience in FIFA that you do on PES. PES is more dynamic, never score the same goal twice. FIFA's animation is jacked as well - not to mention the player models are messed up.

Accurate teams/players was grabbed by getting an option file from PESgaming.com.

Thanks, Woy - yeah, Matteo starting to hit is stride. We'll see if he can keep it up - you never know with injuries, and how he'll recover. Thankfully only out for a week.

Back from injury with a an exclamation mark - Lam Matteo notches two goals in victory.

                  Aston Villa 0-3 Fulham

Super Sub Matteo takes over Villa
                  -Johnson Peoples, March 2014

                  Caution: Sent Off:

                  '34 Agbonlahor, '57-'78 Lam Matteo
Caution: Hangeland ('84) Sent Off: Giovinco ('87) - late challenge, completely missed ball and over the foot of Villa player.

                  Standings: Fulham (13-5-8, 44pts -- 7th)

                  ---------------------------------------------------
Dominating Figure. Two goals in 45 minutes - right place at the right time kind of goals too. Matteo is really starting to catch fire - I'm pretty sure he's on top of the scoring charts at this point. We are nearing the end of the season and this kind of play is just what Fulham need to catapult to the top 5 in the league. No question he received Man of the Match honors, his 5th this year.

First one was fairly easy tap in past Gomes. The second was a thing of beauty as Matteo beats Ferdinand to the ball, diving header into the back of the net!

Making more than a name for himself. Catching fire now, two goals against the Red Devils will definitely catch an eye or two from the big four - maybe even some top Worldwide teams. The win meant more than anything as revenge was sweet for the Cottagers. United seemed as if they forgot their shooting boots since Tevez and Rooney were fairly ineffective.

Matteo is making a name for himself. This offseason better pay off.
