      BYU crushes Washington State 52-30

Pullman,WA - The Cougars turned in a dreadful performance on defense against an average BYU team. The offense did the best it could to keep the team in the game but three late interceptions put it out of reach. Rickey Galvin turned in a terrible performance only rushing for 4 yards, Kasen Williams 154 receiving yards with 12 receptions but also had 7 thats right 7 drops some of them came on key 3rd down plays early in the game. Jeff Tuel went 38-70 and had a record breaking 601yards in the air. The Cougars cannot win football games playing like this expect coach Mike Leach to tear into them after this one.

Washington State handles UNLV with ease, 48-7

Pullman,WA - The Cougars crushed UNLV in this matchup thanks in part to a deadly balance of run and pass offense. With Jeff Tuel passing for 340 yards, and and Carl Winston rushing for almost 300 yards. Two weeks in a row the UNLV defense has made some great plays getting sacks and forcing turnovers granted it has been against sub-par opponents but that all ends when the Colorado Buffalos come to town.

                            Cougars hold off Stanford, 24-14

Pullman,WA- The Cougars scored their least amount of points all season in this game that last they were held this low was when they got spanked by BYU on week on this college football season. But the outcome was the Cougars getting the win this not improving their streak to 7 and are now starting to get talks on why they are not ranked. Well they get to prove whether they deserve that talk when they take on #25 Utah who is also (7-1)
