Ressurection: The Story of Penn State

Hello, and welcome everyone to my NCAA 13 dynasty. I've decided this year to do something a little different. I'll be taking control of Penn State, and will use strict recruiting rules as I sim the first four seasons. In 2016, I will officially begin the dynasty, and attempt to rebuild the school.

Recruiting rules for the first 4 years:

I may only recruit 15 players per year. This is also the maximum number allowed on my recruiting board at one time.

I may only recruit players who have me listed as a top 5 school. If a player on my board drops me below 5th, I must immediately remove him.

Players will be given preference in this order:

    1. In-state recruits who have me listed as #1.
    2. Bordering state recruits (NY, NJ, MD, OH) who have me listed as #1.
    3. Any recruits who have me listed as #1.
    4. In-state recruits who have me listed as top 5.
    5. Bordering state recruits (NY, NJ, MD, OH) who have me listed as top 5.
    6. Any recruits who have me listed as top 5.

I may only recruit a maximum of three 4-star players per year.

I cannot recruit any 5-star players. I cannot recruit any players featured in the Sparq 100.

I may only use six of my available ten hours of calling time per week. I may use all of my scouting time.

All players attempting to transfer to Penn State will be denied.

All players who request to graduate early or transfer out will not be convinced to stay.

    No players will be redshirted.

All 12 opponents will be members of BCS conferences to create the toughest schedule for the team.

The following players have been transferred to reflect real life: Silas Redd (HB) to USC, Kevin Haplea (TE) to Florida State, Khairi Fortt (LB) to Cal.

Damn that sounds like a tough deal with all the restrictions you're giving yourself. Very interesting.

In the name of all that is holy, do NOT let my guy attend OU. I will NOT be associated with that school, or that terrible combination of Crimson and Cream which is a travesty upon humanity.
                      Thank you.

Also...holy shit! My guy ended up wayyyy better than the rating showed when I made him haha.

And I recognize ghstrder..I remember his Panthers franchise a couple years back.

A lot of MM and VSN guys who were heavy into franchises and dynasties are over at DSS.

Also, all the guys are 80 overall, it's just that some of you are scouted higher/lower than others.

And ok. I know I made him to be 69 OVR I think..didn't know if he HAD to be 80, or if that was just the max.

Well I took a look at the overall ratings of the top ten recruits in 2012, and they were all around 80. I want all of the prospects to have successful and storied college careers since we can't export to Madden this season, so I figure making them all recruiting studs is best.
