        It Was Over When: Cubs closer Kyuji Fujikawa got Akonori Aoki to ground out too Darwin Barney to end the game. The ground out followed a two out double by Pinch Hitter Scooter Gennett.

        Turning Point: The Bottom of the 7th. Jean Segura led off the Brewer 7th with double, as the Cubs Starter Scott Baker clung to a one run lead. After Akonori Aoki advanced the runner to third on a ground out, Baker got Rickie Weeks and Ryan Bruan to strike out to end the inning.

            I expect the losses to start coming at a good clip...outside of those two games against Texas my offense has been pretty stagnant. I'm not too sure how long my pitching can hold up.

              It Was Over When: CF David DeJesus finally broke out of his mini slump in the top of the 13th, lining a double to right center to score Ian Stewart.

              Turning Point: Top of the 13th. Ian Stewart ran the count to 3-1 and got a good pitching, singling up the middle. With the Cubs bench empty, Dale Sveum left pitcher Carolos Villanueva in to bunt. Villanueva got the bunt down succesfully, and DeJesus brought Stewart in for the win.

                        It Was Over When: Red C Ryan Hanigan grounded a ball down the third base line to bring in the game winning run. Hanigan's single came right after Chris Heisey's game tying 2 run double.

                        Turning Point: Bottom 9th. Cubs Managed Dale Sveum went with his gut and left Starting Pitcher Edwin Jackson in for the complete game shut out. Jackson lost his control and eventually lost the game.
