                    Denver Nuggets Transaction Update (Offseason)

Denver Says Farewell To Lawson, Gallo & Hello To Westbrook

(AP) -- In a surprising move, the Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets have agreed to terms on a trade that will send superstar point guard Russell Westbrook to Denver in return for Ty Lawson and Danilo Gallinari.

Although tensions may be high, the Denver Nuggets GM has expressed his interest in acquiring a superstar caliber player for the team. With 2 superstars already on the roster, the Thunder accepted the Nuggets offer for Westbrook.

"Our offense will be even better we believe" Thunder head coach Scott Brooks told reporters. "Yes, we're parting with someone the city grew to love, an athlete who is near unstoppable on the court, but his offensive focus and the teams offensive focus haven't been on the same level these past couple of seasons. Lawson fits the description of a point guard better, which is exactly what Kevin Durant needs."

Russell Westbrook is the final piece of separating Oklahoma City's most impressive big 3 after the team traded away James Harden in 2012.

"Our team looks hectic right now on paper" Nuggets GM Agent said, "but wait till you watch these guys on the court. Westbrook's attitude is exactly what we've been looking for."

He also went on to add that he expects Quincy Miller to have a "Most Improved Player Of The Year" type of season. We'll keep our eyes on the Denver Nuggets in 2013-2014.

                      Denver Nuggets Transaction Update (Offseason)

After Acquiring Westbrook, Nuggets sign Beasley

(AP) -- After being released this offseason by the Phoenix Suns for violating the leagues drug policy, Beasley needed a new place to lace up his shoes. Shortly after the trade for Westbrook was finalized, the Nuggets spoke to Michael Beasley's agent and quickly fired up an offer.

Beasley is now a member of the Denver Nuggets after signing a 2yr/$6M contract.

He will wear #8 for the Nuggets.
