Also outside of Chris Cook my defensive secondary is weak. Josh Robinson had one 2-pick game and the rest of the guys back there can't tackle on a consistent basis.

Week 10 Game Recap
ST. PAUL, MN -- The Vikings were finally awake in primetime, as they beat the Washington Redskins at home 38-21 on Thursday Night Football. Coach Leslie Frazier was smiling in the media room after the game, saying, "We found that balance that I talked about last week. AP comes back and look what he does. Just a great game we played, we were dominant in every area and the scoreboard proves that point."
Frazier was not wrong, as Adrian Peterson came back from his broken collarbone and rushed for 206 yards on 28 carries, which is even better than his output in week one against Detroit, his last full game.
"I was just trying to do the basic things tonight like I always do, but I was making more of an effort to do so. Stuff like just moving forward and not letting the ball go. That's the kind of effort I have to keep giving moving forward," Peterson said while panting.
I'd be winded too after the kind of day he had between the lines.

So something happened to the save file that lost the result of the Redskins game and brought me back to the point before the game was played. I simmed the game and won, 30-12. I don't know what changes were made to the stats, and the injury reports in the matchup preview table are still accurate, but there are some different around the league game results so disregard the weekly scoreboard table for week ten. League update is coming after the week eleven game vs. the Seahawks, with accurate standings.Comment

Week 11 Game Recap
SEATTLE, WA -- The Vikings season just got a lot tougher.
The Baltimore Ravens found a way to beat the Chicago Bears, meaning a Vikings win would put them one game away from first place in the NFC North. But Minnesota failed to capitalize, losing 49-35 in Seattle. As usually happens when the Vikings lose, the secondary just failed to step up.
"We're young back here, not a lot of experience but that can't be an excuse," said rookie cornerback Xavier Rhodes. "We need to step up as if we were 7-year vets."
It didn't help that Chris Cook missed the last two minutes of the game, or that Greg Jennings missed the last three. Cordarrelle Patterson also muffed a key punt that led to a Seahawks touchdown early in the fourth quarter.
Cook will be back for the Vikings' game against the Packers this coming week, while Jennings will not return until week 15 when Philadelphia comes to town.

Week 12 Game Recap
GREEN BAY, WI -- "This is the kind of game he was showing when healthy early in the season. We're unstoppable when he runs the way he ran today."
This was Leslie Frazier speaking to the media about Adrian Peterson's day in the Vikings' 41-17 win against the Green Bay Packers. Peterson ran the ball 34 times and finished with 288 yards and four touchdowns. Yes, four touchdowns.
"Just take one look at the current Pro Bowl numbers. Every one of our offensive linemen is on top at their respective position. They're the main reason that me and Toby can have games like this," Peterson said.
It wasn't just the offensive line though. Peterson should give a huge thanks to fullback Jerome Felton, who finished the game with nine pancake blocks.
The passing game wasn't terrible either, as quarterback Matt Cassel finished with 10 completions and 183 yards, including a touchdown pass to Cordarrelle Patterson.

Week 13 Game Recap
ST. PAUL, MN -- The Vikings got their second straight 200-yard game from Adrian Peterson in a 39-6 win at home against the Bears. But they didn't need it. In fact, the entire offense could've stayed home and the teams still would've crushed Chicago. That's because Josh Robinson intercepted Bears quarterback Jay Cutler not once, but three times, taking one back for a touchdown, and Brian Robison picked up six sacks, including a forced fumble that was recovered by Jared Allen in the Bears' end zone for a touchdown. Chad Greenway also sacked Cutler in the end zone for a safety in the third quarter for a safety.
"Our defense stepped up, or maybe it made five steps up, I don't know but if we can keep having games like this, we're going to win a lot of games," said Leslie Frazier.
Quarterback Matt Cassel significantly dropped off, throwing for just 118 yards and getting intercepted once, without throwing a touchdown. Adrian Peterson turned in 213 yards and 2 garbage time scores as the defense had already done their damage and was still doing it.

Week 14 Game Recap
BALTIMORE, MD -- Another week, another 200-yard rushing day from Adrian Peterson, another win for the Vikings. This week, they went to Baltimore to play the defending Super Bowl champion Ravens, and ran them out of the stadium. The Vikings seem to have found their recipe for success, by handing the ball off to Peterson time and time again. No longer do they need touchdowns from Matt Cassel. Peterson just keeps getting yards, and found his way back to the top two on the rushing yards list for the season even though he has already missed six games out of the 13 Minnesota has played.
"I just gotta keep doing what I'm doing here, move the ball, punch it in for scores and get us wins," said a tired Peterson on the sidelines before heading into the locker room after the game.
Interceptions from Harrison Smith and Chris Cook helped seal the game, as the defense for the most part suffocated the Ravens offense, holding them to just six points on two Justin Tucker field goals.

Niners, Vikings to hold ceremonies before their final home games
It has been public knowledge since the beginning of the season that both the San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings would not be in their current stadiums in 2014. The 49ers have a new stadium built just across the street in San Francisco, while the Vikings announced their plans to move into the LA Center in Los Angeles. Over the past two days, both teams announced that before their final home games, they will hold special on-field ceremonies to commemorate all that has happened in the stadiums in their existence.
The Niners' ceremony will be at 7:30PM on Monday night, December 23rd before their game against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Vikings' ceremony will be at 12:00PM on Sunday, December 29th before their game against the Detroit Lions.

Week 15 Game Recap
ST. PAUL, MN -- Will Adrian Peterson ever stop running through people?
That question will be answered once he stops having crazy 200-yard games like the one he had in the Vikings' 43-28 blowout win over the Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
"The credit goes to the blockers in front of me, giving me all this green to work with," says Peterson. And he's right. Most of the long runs he picks up come off of good playcalls with solid blocking. Don't get me wrong though. When he needs to do something himself, he usually gets it done. Matt Cassel was stellar today for the first time in quite a few weeks, throwing two touchdown passes, and newly returned receiver Greg Jennings, got seven catches to lead the team.
The game seemed to be going the Eagles way in the first half. They had a 21-17 lead, and were looking to drive down for another score. But on the first play after the two minute warning, DeSean Jackson caught a pass from Michael Vick and promptly fumbled. Vikings DB Chris Cook recovered, and Minnesota managed to grab a field goal from it. They never looked back from there, and went on to smoke Philadelphia.
Chip Kelly was an angry man in the locker room, and could be found on multiple occasions screaming at Eagles players and coaches.
Minnesota, meanwhile, tied the Bears atop the division with Chicago's loss to Cleveland, and locked up a playoff berth.
