ST. LOUIS, MO (AP)- How's this for an opening impression for your new team? Drew Henson, who was acquired during training camp from the Cowboys, threw for 337 yards and three touchdowns and fellow newcomer Erik Bickerstaff added 86 yards and two touchdowns on just seven carries in the Cardinals opening 44-21 win over the St. Louis Rams at the Edward James Dome. Henson had the look of a veteran early, completing a bullet to Larry Fitzgerald for 17 yards on the third play of the game. After a few Emmitt Smith runs, Henson was sacked by Leonard Little, but then found Anquan Boldin for a 49 yard touchdown on the following play. Marshall Faulk fumbled the ball back to Arizona on the Rams' first drive and after a Smith run, Henson hooked up with Boldin for a 14 yard score. St. Louis proceeded to go three and out but on the first play of Arizona's drive, Henson made a rookie mistake and threw it right to Trev Faulk, who was sitting in the middle of the field. Another three and out by the Rams set up a promising drive in which Henson found both Boldin and Fitzgerald for 30+ yard passes, but then he threw it to another Rams linebacker, this time Pisa Tinoisamoa, for his second pick of the day.

Bickerstaff got going in the second quarter, carrying the ball twice for 28 yards before scooting down the right side for a 21 yard touchdown. A late field goal by Neil Rackers put the Cardinals up 24-0 at halftime. Henson had another interception to Tinoisamoa in the third but then on an all-out blitz by St. Louis in the fourth, he calmly stepped up in the pocket and hit a crossing Freddie Jones for a 73 yard touchdown to make it a two score game. Bickerstaff score on a 34 yard touchdown later to put the game away, shocking many Rams fans who expected a blowout the other way. Arizona improves to 1-0 and will host the New England Patriots next Sunday night, when the late Pat Tillman will have his jersey retired.

Thanks and yeah he does, I love playing with him. I'm still in the process of messing with sliders to get the most realistic results, so his play might drop or go up. We'll have to wait and see.

        You like the layout?

Yeah I do, the way you're doing the stats after each game is different from most, and it works.

I'm getting a kick out of some of the names I'm seeing too that are nobodies today, lol.

              Lol, same here.

Hell, for all I know, ten years into this 'chise, Joey Harrington and Rex Grossman could be the new Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. Ben Roethlisberger could end up like Ryan Leaf. That's one reason why I like doing these, they're unpredictable.

Being Easter Sunday and all, I won't promise an update because I have a busy day, but I'll see what I can get done.

                Week 2 Preview

                at
New England Patriots (0-1) at Arizona Cardinals (1-0)

                Pre-Game Injury Report

NE- Lyle West, SS (hyperextended shoulder - probable) | Eugene Wilson, FS (torn MCL - out)
ARZ- Bryant Johnson, WR (torn calf - out)

                Pre-Game Matchups

Patriots QB Tom Brady (21-28, 330 yards, 3 TD) vs. Cardinals QB Drew Henson (17-28, 337 yards, 3 TD, 3 INT)
Tom Brady had a great game against the Colts last week, and will look to do the same against a Cardinals secondary that allowed 255 yards and three touchdowns to Marc Bulger last week. Henson was up and down all game against the Rams, and if he plays like that this week, he'll end up looking like a lost puppy out there against an experienced Patriots secondary.

Patriots HB Corey Dillon (16 carries, 50 yards) vs. Cardinals HB Erik Bickerstaff (7 carries, 85 yards, 2 TD)
Dillon struggled against the Colts, and could struggle again against a defense that held Marshall Faulk last week to 2.7 yards per carry. Bickerstaff was a major surprise last week, coming off the bench to boost a running game that was ranked near the bottom of every pre-season ranking magazines. He could be the X-factor in this matchup.

Patriots WR Deion Branch (5 catches, 77 yards, 1 TD) vs. Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (8 catches, 95 yards)
Branch leads a receiving group where the top three receivers are under six foot. Despite that, Branch and Troy Brown make up one of the best receiving duos in the AFC and that could pose problems against the Cardinals secondary. Fitzgerald, the rookie from Pittsburgh, had a great opening game with eight catches against a depleted Rams secondary. Anquan Boldin had one less catch, but added 155 yards and two scores.

                Prediction: Patriots 28, Cardinals 17

Thanks Houston. I've only posted one regular season game, so you don't have to catch up on much.

The next game will be up soon, putting the finishing touches on it.

THE SECONDARY STEPS UP ON PAT TILLMAN NIGHT; CARDINALS GO TO 2-0

Adrian Wilson was granted permission to wear number 40 by Pat Tillman's family before the game. Here he is sacking Tom Brady.

                            FIRST QUARTER
NE- Adam Vinatieri 35 yard field goal

                            SECOND QUARTER
ARZ- Neil Rackers 21 yard field goal
NE- Tom Brady 64 yard pass to Corey Dillon (Adam Vinatieri kick)
ARZ- Drew Henson 18 yard pass to Larry Fitzgerald (Neil Rackers kick)
ARZ- Drew Henson 85 yard pass to Anquan Boldin (Neil Rackers kick)

                            THIRD QUARTER
NE- Tom Brady 24 yard pass to Christian Fauria (Adam Vinatieri kick)

                            FOURTH QUARTER
ARZ- Emmitt Smith 1 yard run (Neil Rackers kick)
ARZ- Emmitt Smith 2 yard run (Neil Rackers kick)

GLENDALE, AZ (AP)- How fitting that on the night the late Pat Tillman had his jersey retired, that the Arizona Cardinals secondary stepped up against an All-Pro quarterback. The secondary foced Tom Brady into five interceptions and Anquan Boldin had 222 yards receiving and two touchdowns on seven catches in Arizona's 31-17 win over the New England Patriots. A quiet first quarter in which the only points came off of Adam Vinatieri's leg made for a very exciting second quarter. After a Neil Rackers field goal to tie the game, Brady got a controversial pass interference call to give them a first down. The next play he found Corey Dillon out of the backfield and the former Cincinnati Bengal scampered 64 yards for a score. Drew Henson came back with a quick strike, hitting Boldin for 62 yards and then finding rookie Larry Fitzgerald for an 18 yard score. A long drive for the Patriots ended in a punt and then Henson found Boldin on the first play of the next drive for 85 yards and a score. A David Macklin interception on a Hail Mary sent the teams into the locker room with Arizona up 17-10.

The teams traded three and outs before Brady got his team on track again. He found Deion Branch across the middle for 55 yards, and then after a Dillon three yard loss on a run, he found Christian Fauria for a 24 yard score. After a few drives, the Cardinals got the ball early in the fourth quarter and went to work. Henson found Boldin for a 32 yard gain, then Emmitt Smith and Erik Bickerstaff carried the ball five times to the one yaerd line. From there, the NFL's all-time leading rusher punched it in to give Arizona the lead for good.

The Patriots got a long 33 yard run by Dillon to start their next drive before Adrian Wilson made the tackle. Wilson, wearing the number 40 in honor of Pat Tillman, had eight tackles and a sack before making this tackle on the Patriots back. However, Wilson got up clutching his arm, and when the game was over, it was announced that the defensive captain fractured his arm. Duane Starks picked off Brady's throw the next play and Smith carried the ball three times before punching it in to set the final score. The Cardinals improve to 2-0 and will head to the Georgia Dome to face the Atlanta Falcons.

                            PASSING
